A driver login device includes: a network communication unit in communication with the server via a network; an image pickup device capturing a target to obtain a login data; an image processing unit electrically coupled to the image pickup unit, and receiving and processing the login data to obtain a digital data; and a central processing unit electrically coupled to the network communication unit, the image pickup device and the image processing unit. The central processing unit, by way of the network communication unit, receives the data of the driver from the server via the network, controls the image pickup device to capture the target, comparing the digital data with the data of the driver to generate a comparing result, and by way of the network communication unit, transmitting the comparing result back to the server via the network.

Driver login system

The present invention is provided for producing check data or recovery data in a disk array. According to the present invention, a plurality of buffers receives and stores the data respectively for a plurality of operation units to perform operations to produce check data. An output selector selects one of the buffers and sends the check data to the coupled disk drive. When recovering the data in a disk drive, by using the buffers coupled to the other disk drives, the data or the check data stored in the other disk drives are sent to the operation units to perform operations on the data and the check data to produce recovery data. The recovery data is then sent to the disk drive to be recovered by selecting the buffer coupled to the disk drive to be recovered via the output selector. In addition, the buffers can be coupled to a plurality of input selectors, which are used for selecting to send data in one of the buffers to the coupled operation units.

Circuit and method for checking and recovering a disk array

A chip test method is suitable for testing a universal serial bus host controller. First, the host controller and the client device are individually set in a test mode. Next, the client device performs a client-side test preparation action. In addition, the host controller performs a host-side test preparation action. The host controller sequentially outputs a number of requests to the client device. The client device, in response to the requests, outputs simulated responses individually to the host controller, wherein the simulated responses are selected from correct responses corresponding to the requests, possible faulty responses, and error responses that are possibly to be received by the host controller during actual operation. Finally, the host controller performs a verification test to verify whether the host controller works properly under the various simulated situations.

Method for testing a universal serial bus host controller

A USB controlling apparatus for data transfer between computers and method for the same are provided. The apparatus comprises a host controller providing a host function of USB interface; a device function circuit providing a device function of USB interface; at least one connection for connecting to a USB device or a USB cable by way of data transfer; and a path switch unit. The path switch unit connected to the host controller, device function circuit and the USB data lines, used to switch a connection path of the USB data lines between the host controller and the device function circuit, which is able to provide a host function mode to connect USB apparatus for data transmitting or a device function mode to connect with other computer host for data transmitting.
