The disclosure provides an integrated circuit and an operation method and an inspection method thereof. The integrated circuit includes a one-time programmable (OTP) memory, an identifier generation circuit, and a memory controller. The identifier generation circuit generates a random number, and performs an error-detection-code encoding operation on the random number to generate an identifier with an error-detection code. The memory controller writes the identifier generated by the identifier generation circuit into the OTP memory. The identifier generation circuit reads the identifier from the OTP memory through the memory controller, and performs an error-detection-code decoding operation on the identifier provided by the memory controller to determine whether an error of the identifier from the OTP memory is correctable. When it is determined that the error of the identifier from the OTP memory is not correctable, the writing of the identifier is deemed failed.

An adaptive serial general-purpose input output (ASGPIO) interface and a signal receiver thereof suitable for a secure control module (SCM) are provided. The ASGPIO interface includes a signal transmitter. The signal transmitter includes a first data buffer, a comparator, and an encoder. The first data buffer receives transmitted data and provides previously transmitted data. The comparator receives currently transmitted data and receives the previously transmitted data. In a first mode, the comparator compares the previously transmitted data with the currently transmitted data to generate a data variation information. The encoder, in the first mode, generates at least one index value and a corresponding instruction signal according to the data variation information. The signal transmitter sends the at least one index value as a serial signal and the instruction signal to a signal receiver.

Adaptive serial general-purpose input output interface and signal receiver thereof

A signal transceiving system and a signal receiver thereof are provided. The signal transceiving system includes a signal transmitter. The signal transmitter includes a first data buffer, a comparator, and an encoder. The first data buffer receives transmitted data and provides previously transmitted data. The comparator receives currently transmitted data and receives the previously transmitted data. The comparator compares, in a first mode, the previously transmitted data with the currently transmitted data to generate a data variation information. The encoder generates, in the first mode, at least one index value and a corresponding instruction signal according to the data variation information. The signal transmitter sends the at least one index value which is a serial signal and the instruction signal to a signal receiver.

A power measurement circuit is disclosed. The power measurement circuit comprises a sampling register, a latch generator, an accumulation unit, a calculation unit and an output register. The sampling register samples an input signal based on a sampling clock to generate a binary digit. The latch generator generates a latch signal based on the sampling clock and a measurement interval. The accumulation unit accumulates the binary digit based on the latch signal to generate a sum value. The calculation unit calculates an ON-phase rate of the input signal according to the sum value and the measurement interval. The output register stores a power consumption value according to the ON-phase rate of the input signal.

A protective device including a substrate, a conductive section and a bridge element is provided. The conductive section is supported by the substrate, wherein the conductive section comprises a metal element electrically connected between first and second electrodes. The metal element serves as a sacrificial structure having a melting point lower than that of the first and second electrodes. The conductive section is supported by the substrate, wherein the conductive section comprises a metal element electrically connected between first and second electrodes. The metal element serves as a sacrificial structure having a melting point lower than that of the first and second electrodes. The first auxiliary medium is disposed between the metal element and the substrate, wherein the first auxiliary medium has a melting point lower than that of the metal element. The first auxiliary medium facilitates breaking of the metal element upon melting.

The invention discloses a transmitting apparatus. The transmitting apparatus uses the same transmission medium to transmit two signals that are within different frequency ranges at the same time. The transmitting apparatus increases the transmitting paths of the transmission medium so as to enhance the use of the transmission medium and save the production costs.

A progressive differential motion JPEG codec is disclosed. The compression encoder of the progressive differential motion JPEG codec comprises a video capture unit, a video capture buffer, a detection unit, a compression unit, and a quality level buffer. The video capture unit is used for receiving an image data and dividing a component of the image data into a plurality of image data blocks. The video capture buffer stores the image data block. The detection unit is electrically coupled to the video capture unit and the video capture buffer for detecting whether a content of the image data block input from the video capture unit is different from a content of the image data block retrieved from the video capture buffer. The compression unit is electrically coupled to the detection unit for compressing the image data block retrieved from the video capture buffer with a predetermined level compression scheme depending on the difference between the content of the image data block input from the video capture unit and the content of the image data block retrieved from the video capture buffer. The quality level buffer assigns and stores an index value indicative of level compression scheme in the quality level buffer when the compression unit compresses the image data block retrieved from the video capture buffer.

Progressive differential motion JPEG codec

A signal transmission device adapted to transmit an n-bit parallel digital signal is used for avoiding a transmission error. The device includes a detector for receiving a first and a second n-bit digital data consecutively occurred in the n-bit parallel digital signal, proceeding a first calculation to obtain a changed value, and outputting an indicating signal while the changed value is larger than a threshold, an encoder electrically connected to the detector for receiving the indicating signal and the second n-bit digital data, proceeding a second calculation, and outputting an encoded second n-bit digital data to reduce the changed value between the first n-bit digital data and the encoded second n-bit digital data below the threshold, and a decoder electrically connected to the detector and the encoder receiving the indicating signal and the encoded second n-bit digital data, proceeding a third calculation, and recovering the second n-bit digital data.
