Battery holder for power tool

A screwdriver includes a handle and a plastic gear mechanism which drives a bit engaging device by a power source connected to the handle. A positive plate and a negative plate are respectively connected to the handle. A light frame has at least one light bulb connected thereto and a positive ring and a negative ring are respectively engaged with the light frame. A spring is mounted to the bit engaging device and connected between the negative ring and the negative plate. The at least one light bulb is connected to the positive ring and the negative ring. A gap is defined between the positive plate and an extension of the positive ring. An annular switch is rotatably mounted to the light frame and includes a touch piece which contacts both of the position plate and the extension of the positive ring to light the at least one light bulb.

Screwdriver with light device

A power tool includes a function control mechanism to control operation of a drive spindle in a selected one of a rotary drive mode and a hammering mode. The function control mechanism includes a first ratchet that is mounted to rotate with the drive spindle, a second ratchet that is slidable from a first position to a second position, and a ring controller. The second ratchet is disengaged from the first ratchet when the second ratchet is in the first position, and is engaged with the first ratchet when the second ratchet is in the second position. The ring controller is coupled to a push ring that abuts against the second ratchet such that rotation of the ring controller results in movement of the second ratchet between the first and second positions.

A powered, unidirectional output controlling apparatus mounted between the main shaft of an electrically powered tool and a power source is provided. The apparatus comprises a rotating seat, a plurality of flexible disc seats made from a rubber material, a locking seat, a plurality of locking rollers and a fixing ring. One end of the rotating seat is engaged with the power source output of a power transmission mechanism and the other end of the rotating seat is provided with a plurality of insertion shafts passing though the locking seat fastened by two flexible disc seats. The locking seat is first mounted into the fixing ring. The center of the rotating seat is provided with a bolt hole for the mounting of the main shaft. The external edge of the fixing ring is secured to the housing of the electrically powered tool. An inner side of the fixing ring is formed with an annular groove into which a rubber ring is disposed. The perimeter portion of he locking seat is provided with a plurality of locking slots and the locking slots are mounted with a plurality of locking rollers. During reverse transmission, the flat bottom surfaces of the locking slots push the locking rollers to engage with a narrow space at the lateral ends of the locking slots, such that the locking rollers engage with the fixing ring and the locking seat.

Powered, unidirectional output controlling apparatus

A powered, unidirectional output controlling apparatus mounted between the main shaft of an electrically powered tool and a power source is provided. The apparatus comprises a rotating seat, a plurality of flexible disc seats made from a rubber material, a locking seat, a plurality of locking rollers and a fixing ring. One end of the rotating seat is engaged with the power source output of a power transmission mechanism and the other end of the rotating seat is provided with a plurality of insertion shafts passing through the locking seat fastened by two flexible disc seats. The locking seat is first mounted into the fixing ring. The center of the rotating seat is provided with a bolt hole for the mounting of the main shaft. The external edge of the fixing ring is secured to the housing of the electrically powered tool. The perimeter portion of the locking seat is provided with a plurality of locking slots and the locking slots are mounted with a plurality of locking rollers. Powered, undirectional output controlling apparatus

A speed change control structure for an electric tool is adapted to be provided near a speed change device of the electric tool and includes at least one speed change forked rod, a speed control push block, an elastic latch member, and an insert hole formed in a housing of the electric tool. The insert hole has two opposed walls each of which is provided with an inner projection. The speed control push block is formed with a through hole for mounting of the elastic latch member. The elastic latch member includes a push button, a bow-shaped packing ring fitted to a rear end of the push button, and a squeeze plate connected to the rear end of the push button, such that the push button and the bow-shaped packing ring are exposed on the surface of the speed control push block, and the squeeze plate is elastically retained and supported between the bow-shaped walls at the inner end of the speed control push block. When the push button is pressed, the squeeze plate is caused to displace so that the bow-shaped walls can elastically slide past the inner projections to allow pushing of the speed control push block, thereby preventing possible accidents caused by inadvertent pressing of the press button or pushing of the push block.

Speed change control structure for an electric tool

The disclosure defined by this invention describes a structure which allows free movement of a cable of an electric tool. The structure is installed at the end of the handle of the electric tool and generally includes a seat cover, a cable clamping tube, and a cable tail stop. The seat cover includes a connecting chamber connected to the cable clamping tube. The cable is passed through the cable tail stop which passes through the inner and outer spaces of the handle. Hence, the cable may turn relative to the electric tool at any bending angle and the relative position between the cable and the electric tool may be easily arranged. Furthermore, the cable will not be easily damaged.

Structure allowing free movement of a cable of an electric tool

An electric tool structure having a lighting device, in particular an electric tool having a lighting device insertably provided near a bit or head portion of the electric tool body, includes a light shade having projection windows, a torsion adjusting knob insertably provided with light bulbs, a torsion adjusting unit disposed inside the torsion adjusting knob, a switch ring, a metal gear housing, a gear set disposed inside the metal gear housing, and a power tool body. The power tool body has a front end connected to the metal gear housing. First and second electric conductive plates of different polarities extend from a power source in an interior of the power tool body. The first electric conductive plate is in contact with a wall of the metal gear housing in a lapping manner. The second electric conductive plate contacts the wall of the metal gear housing. A first electrically conductive plate is insertably disposed in the wall of the metal gear housing. The switch ring is sleeved onto the metal gear housing, and has an inner wall provided with an electric conductive elastic plate that projects therefrom to urge against the first electrically conductive plate. The torsion adjusting unit in the torsion adjusting knob engages retainingly the wall of the metal gear housing. The torsion adjusting unit is provided with a second electrically conductive plate that is capable of contacting the first electrically conductive plate in a lapping manner, and that is connected to light bulb holders in the torsion adjusting knob. The light shade covers a front end of the torsion adjusting knob opposite to the metal gear housing such that the projection windows are aligned with the light bulbs. By turning the switch ring, the conductive elastic plate presses against the first electrically conductive plate to contact the second-electrically conductive plate to make the electrical connection so that the light bulbs can radiate light to illuminate a working zone.
