The present invention provides a battery management system, which is applicable to at least one battery string, wherein each battery string comprises a plurality of batteries connected in series. The battery management system comprises a plurality of battery sensors and a main controller. Each battery sensor measures at least one corresponding battery and has a first communication module, and each battery sensor issues a broadcast through the first communication module when its power is activated. The main controller has a second communication module. The second communication module and the first communication modules are signal connected in parallel. The main controller executes a web server program to provide a web page. When the main controller receives the broadcast, the main controller displays an addressing interface by the web page, so as to assign each battery sensor to at least one corresponding battery to complete the addressing of the battery sensors.

Battery management system

A battery management system comprises a battery manager and battery sensors for sensing related information of each battery in a battery string. The batteries in the battery string are divided into a plurality of first groups. The battery sensors are divided into a plurality of second groups. Each second group senses the batteries in a corresponding first group, and each battery sensor senses at least one battery. Each of a part of the communication ports of the battery manager is signally connected to the battery sensors of one of the second groups. The number of the battery sensors in each second group is less than or equal to the number of battery sensors that each communication port can support. The battery manager merges the battery sensors signally connected to the part of the communication ports into one group according to a merging command, and regards the merged battery sensors as battery sensors of a same battery string accordingly.

A UPS with voltage-balancing state detection of batteries includes a processor, a voltage measurement module, a voltage control module, a battery pack and a display unit. Each of the voltage measurement module and the voltage control module is connected to the processor and the battery pack. The processor is connected to the display unit, generates a voltage index value according to voltage values measured by the voltage measurement module and a voltage-balancing state according to the voltage index value and a set of index ranges, controls charging to the battery pack according to the voltage values through the voltage control module, acquires an updated voltage-balancing state of the battery pack, and instructs the display unit to display the voltage-balancing state to prompt users for battery replacement when the voltage-balancing state and the updated voltage-balancing state acquired within a state-holding time are identical.

A PDU (power distribution unit) having capability for remaining power management, the PDU has a plurality of first outlets, the PDU can electrically connect with a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), the PDU and the UPS can be communicatively connected to a manager; wherein the PDU can receive a remaining power parameter which is transmitted from the UPS, the manager can use the user interface to display the remaining power parameter, and the manager can use the user interface to set up at least one outlet action, the PDU can control at least one the first outlet to execute the outlet action according to the remaining power parameter.

Power distribution unit having capability for remaining power management

A power output control module for power distribution is installed inside a power distributor that is connected to an AC power source and multiple electronic devices to control the AC power outputted to the electronic devices. The power output control module continuously detects whether the AC power inputted is normal. When the AC power source is disconnected by accident, a latch relay is controlled to switch to be open, so that the AC power source and the electronic devices are disconnected. This prevents the instantaneous surge current from damaging the electronic devices when the AC power source resumes its normal output and also increases the safety and reliability of electronic devices.

The processor is connected to the display, generates a reference internal resistance according to multiple internal resistances detected by the internal resistance sensor assembly within a stable time after installation, generates a stable internal resistance according to an internal resistance of the battery pack detected by the internal resistance sensor assembly after the stable time, compares the stable internal resistance with the reference internal resistance to generate a status of internal resistance of the battery pack, and instructs the display to display the status for user's timely awareness of the condition of the battery pack and prompt action when the performance of the battery pack deteriorates.

The sensing module is connected to the processor and the battery pack. The processor is connected to the display, generates a reference internal resistance according to multiple internal resistances detected by the sensing module within a stable time after installation, generates a stable internal resistance according to an internal resistance of the battery pack detected by the sensing module after the stable time, compares the stable internal resistance with the reference internal resistance to generate a status of internal resistance of the battery pack, and instructs the display unit to display the status for user's timely awareness of the condition of the battery pack and prompt action when the performance of the battery pack deteriorates.

A battery apparatus with voltage-balancing control and a method controlling the same employ a voltage-balancing module, which balances voltage values of multiple series-connected batteries of the battery apparatus, and accumulates voltage difference values of each battery relative to reference voltage values to adjust an allowable discharge control parameter Duty for each battery. By virtue of a cycle for updating the Duty, voltage differences of the multiple series-connected batteries can be lowered below a preset value.

Battery apparatus with voltage-balancing control and method for controlling the same

A UPS system with network monitoring and attached battery pack information sensing functions includes a UPS apparatus including a UPS body and a UPS monitoring module, and attached battery packs coupled to the UPS body. Each attached battery pack includes a battery pack body, and a battery pack monitoring module that includes a control unit, a sensor module for detecting the status information of the battery pack body, a memory, and a network interface for communication with the UPS monitoring module through a local area network to transmit the status information of the battery pack body. When the battery pack monitoring module transmits the status information to the UPS monitoring module, the manager can link a web browser of an external equipment to a battery pack status page provided by a built-in web server of the UPS monitoring module to get the status information of every attached battery pack.

The present disclosure illustrates a cabinet type on-site monitoring device, which comprises a monitoring module and a positioning mechanism, and monitoring method thereof. The monitoring module can automatically detect an electric apparatus installed inside a cabinet for monitoring, and a main body can be combined on a casing structure, or the casing structure is movably pivoted on a cabinet door by using a positioning component and hang holes or a through hole on a support. A method for controlling power distribution unit (PDU) by an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has steps of allowing logging in the UPS through a network, providing a web-based user interface and allowing adding an identification of at least one PDU to use sockets on the added PDU to simulate additional sockets on the UPS, performing a handshaking task with the added PDU, receiving information from the added PDU during performing of the handshaking task, displaying the received information of the added PDU on the web-based user interface and allowing either operating the UPS or controlling the added PDU. The method allows the UPS to be capable of communicating with all connected PDUs so the user can merely login the UPS to control and manage all PDUs connected to the UPS.

Uninterruptible power supply and method for controlling power distribution unit by the same

A method of remotely controlling power distribution units enables the power distribution units to automatically transmit messages to a server once connected to the server via a network. When a user logs into a server and requests to remotely control the associated power distribution units, the user only needs to enter the serial numbers or identification data thereof. The server then automatically searches for all power distribution units owned by the user, and provides a group management interface. The user can then group the power distribution units according to their locations or their properties in order to control the on and off thereof. Without knowing the IP addresses of the power distribution units, the user can readily control the power distribution units at different locations remotely.
