A fixing assembly of reduced size, with a light-passing aperture for a lens holder and lens, includes a sidewall and an extending portion, the first sidewall is a ring-shaped structure, the extending portion is disposed on inner wall of the first sidewall, and the extending portion extends from an inner surface of the first sidewall. A top surface of the extending portion is recessed relative to a top surface of the first sidewall to form a groove. The lens is received in the groove and connected to the extending portion. The light-passing aperture is disposed on a surface of the lens away from the at least one extending portion, and the aperture is clamped with the lens holder.

Fixing assembly for lens and lens holder and electronic device

A method for manufacturing a lens includes: providing a metal sheet and a stamping mold; forming a light shield of a predetermined shape and size from the metal sheet using the stamping mold; providing an injection mold, the injection mold defining a mold cavity, the mold cavity defining a molding surface that corresponds to the light shield in shape and size; placing the light shield in the mold cavity, wherein the light shield is pasted to the molding surface; and forming a lens with the light shield using the injection mold.

Method for manufacturing lens with light shield

A touch panel input stylus comprises a casing, a lens, a shading member, and a light emitting element. The lens, the shading member, and the light emitting element are received in the casing. The shading member defines a stepped through aperture. The stepped through aperture includes a light through hole and a receiving hole having a greater diameter than the light through hole. A longitudinal positioning structure is provided in the receiving hole. The light emitting element is received and fixed in the receiving hole firmly by the longitudinal positioning structure. The longitudinal positioning structure is deformable. The light emitted from the light emitting element passes through the light through hole and then travels through the lens.

Touch panel input stylus

A spacer includes an object-side surface, an image-side surface, and an outer sidewall. The image-side surface is opposite to the object-side surface. The outer sidewall defines a first cutout and a second cutout. The first cutout and the second cutout penetrate through the object-side surface and the image-side surface. Contours of the first cutout and the second cutout are different from each other.

Spacer and lens module

A lens module includes a lens barrel, a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, and two spacers. The lens barrel includes an object-side end and an image-side end. The first, second, and third lenses are received in the lens barrel and arranged in that order from the object-side to the image-side. One of the two spacers is positioned between the first lens and the second lens, and the other of the two spacers is positioned between the second lens and the third lens. Each of the spacers is chamfered to prevent the ingress of unwanted light.

A lens module includes a lens barrel, a first lens, a second lens, and a spacer. The lens barrel includes an object-side end and an image-side end opposite to the object-side end. The first lens is received in the lens barrel, and adjacent to the object-side end. The second lens is received in the lens barrel, and adjacent to the image-side end in relative to the first lens. The spacer is an annular plate, and includes an object-side surface, an image-side surface opposite to the object-side surface, and an inner sidewall. The spacer is positioned between the first lens and the second lens. The object-side surface faces the first lens, and the image-side surface faces the second lens. The intersection of the object-side surface and the inner sidewall forms a chamfer.

Lens module with spacer

An exemplary camera includes a lens module, a rotatable board, and a number of secondary lenses. The lens module is positioned on a substrate and defines an optical axis at the central axis thereof. The rotatable board is positioned above the lens module and rotatable to a number of discrete positions. The secondary lenses are located on the rotatable board. In each discrete position, one of the secondary lenses is optically aligned with the lens module.

Camera and electronic device using same

An exemplary camera module includes a barrel, a holder, and an image sensor assembly. The barrel forms an external thread on an outer surface thereof. At least one protrusion is formed along a circumferential direction on the outer surface thereof. The at least one protrusion and the external thread are arranged in an order written from an object side to an image side. An internal thread is formed on an inner wall of the holder to threadedly engage with the external thread of the barrel. The at least one protrusion contacts the inner wall of the holder but are slidable relative to the inner wall of the holder. The image sensor assembly includes an image sensor. The image sensor is received in the holder.

A camera module includes a lens barrel, a first lens and a second lens. The lens barrel includes a substantially cylindrical inner wall. The first lens is received in the lens barrel. The first lens includes a first circumferential side surface spaced from the inner wall. The second lens is engaged with the first lens and received in the lens barrel. The second lens includes a second circumferential side surface. The second circumferential side surface has a first portion contacting the inner wall and a second portion spaced from the inner wall, thus a gap defined between the second portion and the inner wall. Adhesive is applied in the gap between the second portion and the inner wall.

Camera module

A barrel is configured for receiving the plurality of lenses therein and for automatically aligning respective optical axes of the plurality of lenses. At least one protruding rib is formed on an internal surface of the barrel and extends along/from the internal surface of the barrel, in a direction parallel to an axis of the barrel. The protruding rib is configured for elastically supporting the plurality of lenses there against and for automatically aligning the respective optical axes of the plurality of lenses.
