An optical compensation apparatus applied to panels is disclosed. A panel of the panels includes sub-pixels. The optical compensation apparatus includes an optical measurement module, a data processing module and an optical compensation module. The optical measurement module measures optical measurement values corresponding to the sub-pixels. The data processing module determines first optical compensation values needed for the sub-pixels according to the optical measurement values, determines an overall compensation operation reference of the panel accordingly, determines a demura algorithm suitable for the panel according to at least one threshold compensation value and the overall compensation operation reference and obtains second optical compensation values accordingly. Then, the optical compensation module outputs the second optical compensation values to perform optical compensation on a display data provided to the panel.

Optical compensation apparatus applied to panel and operating method thereof

A display apparatus and operating method thereof are disclosed. The display apparatus includes a display panel and a driving IC. A display area of the display panel is divided into sub-display areas. The driving IC is coupled to the display panel. The driving IC includes registers corresponding to the sub-display areas respectively. The driving IC receives a display data and obtains a plurality of color information corresponding to the sub-display areas respectively according to the display data, and then stores the plurality of color information in the registers respectively. When the frame display by the display panel has not to be refreshed, the driving IC stops receiving the display data and converts the plurality of color information stored in the registers into corresponding colors respectively and outputs them to the sub-display areas of the display panel to display.

A touch time arranging method, applied to a panel display driving circuit having touch timing control function in a touch display panel, includes: dividing the resolution of touch display panel along a first direction by K touch regions of touch display panel along the first direction to obtain a first quotient; obtaining a digital combination including a first value I and a second value J closest to the integer part of first quotient; if the ratio of the number of occurrences of the first value and second value in the digital combination is X:Y, dividing the resolution by (I*X+J*Y) to obtain a second quotient; when the touch display panel displays R lines in order under a display mode, the touch display panel is switched to a touch mode every I lines and J lines alternately according to the digital combination to arrange a touch time to perform touch sensing.

A display recording information and generation method thereof are disclosed. The display recording information is used to record the corresponding relationship between the display information received by a driving IC of a display and pixels of the display. The display recording information is formed by one byte (8 bits). Its first bit through six bit record a counting result that a number counter or a column counter performs a six-bit counting on a number of pixels or a number of columns of pixels starting from 0; its seventh bit uses 0 or 1 to record that the counting result belongs to the number of pixels or a number of columns of pixels; its eighth bit uses 1 to record that a most significant bit of the display information including red, green, or blue is 1, otherwise uses 0 to record.

A ring oscillator clock automatic synchronization method of a panel driving circuit includes steps of: when a vertical blanking interval happens, a master driver generates a pulse signal to slave drivers respectively. A pulse width of the pulse signal equals to N times of a master ring oscillator clock, wherein N is larger than 0. When a slave driver receives the pulse signal, the slave driver uses its slave ring oscillator clock to count the pulse width of the pulse signal to obtain that the pulse width of the pulse signal equals to M times of the slave ring oscillator clock, wherein M is larger than 0. An AC voltage output terminal of the driving circuit is coupled to the common electrode via the capacitor.
