A cable guiding assembly is mounted to a cable guide seat and for extension of a cable therethrough, and includes first and second housings, a pivot connecting unit and a locking mechanism. The pivot connecting unit includes first and second pivot connecting portions disposed on and pivotably connected to the first and second housings, respectively, such that the first housing is pivotable relative to the second housing between a close position, where the first and second housings cooperatively define an accommodating space and permit the cable to extend therethrough, and an open position that permits the cable to be installed to and removed from the cable guiding assembly. The locking mechanism includes first and second locking units disposed respectively on first and second housings, respectively opposite to the first and second pivot connecting portions and detachably engaging each other to secure the first housing at the close position.

Cable guiding assembly

A cable guiding assembly includes a supporting frame, a roller unit, a connecting unit, and a cable guide device. The roller unit includes upper and lower rollers rotatably mounted in the supporting frame and defining a cable space therebetween for extension of a cable therethrough. The connecting unit includes left and right swing arms pivotably connected to the supporting frame, and an elongated rod extending and mounted between the left and right swing arms. The cable guide device is mounted to and slidable along the elongated rod, and has a left-right channel for extension of the elongated rod therethrough, and a front-rear channel extending through the cable guide device and for the cable to extend therethrough. Pivot movement of the left and right swing arms drives the cable guide device to move between an deployed position and a retracted position.

A planetary gear assembly includes a wheel hub surrounding an axis, and having an end face and a plurality of engaging recesses formed in the end face, and a planetary gear reduce mechanism including a sun gear disposed on and rotatable about the axis, a plurality of planet gears, and first and second ring gears. The planet gears angularly surround the sun gear and mesh with the sun gear and the first and second ring gears. The first ring gear is stationary relative to the planet gears. The second ring gear is arranged between the wheel hub and the first ring gear along the axis. The second ring gear includes a wheel-hub-facing face surrounding the axis and facing the end face, and a plurality of joining protrusions disposed on the wheel-hub-facing face and respectively complementary in shape with and respectively engage the engaging recesses.

Foldable miter saws and a folding method of miter saws are disclosed. The foldable miter saws includes a base unit, a worktable, and a cutting unit. The cutting unit includes a support arm pivotally mounted on the worktable, a saw blade, and a driver. The miter saw folding method includes the step of biasing the cutting unit relative to the base unit and the step of rotating the support arm relative to the base unit and the worktable to change the cutting unit from a working position to a folded position, thus reducing the vertical space occupied by the cutting unit and facilitating delivery, storage and package of the foldable miter saws.

A table saw includes a worktable, a left extension frame and a right extension frame respectively slidably mounted at left and right sides of the worktable, a scale unit including a first scale, a second scale and a third scale respectively mounted at the worktable, the left extension frame and the right extension frame, and an indicator unit including a first indicator, a second indicator and a third indicator respectively disposed to aim at the first, second and third scales. Thus, when operating the table saw to cut a workpiece, the user can selectively pull out the left or right extension frame and use the corresponding scale and indicator for quickly judging the correctness of the length to be cut.

A saw blade guard quick release structure and a method for locking and unlocking saw blade guard includes a locating member, a connection member, and a retaining unit. The locating member has two retaining notches. The connection member includes a first guide portion and a second guide portion. The retaining unit is installed on the connection member, including a linking member, a drag member movable along the first guide portion, two retaining members respectively pivotally connected to the drag member and movable along the second guide portion, and a spring member. The method includes mounting the connection member directly on the locating member and selectively engaging the retaining members with the locating notches, thereby locking or unlocking the saw blade guard.

A saw machine riving knife adjustment mechanism includes a locating frame, which has a slot, a riving knife, which has a longitudinal slot with at least one notch formed along one side of the longitudinal slot, and which is detachably mounted on the locating frame, a biasing member, which is mounted on the locating frame, and a locking member, which is inserted through the longitudinal slot of the riving knife and the slot of the locating frame. The locking member is biased by the biasing member to a locking position where the locking member is engaged with the at least one notch to lock the riving knife in position.
