A saw machine worktable positioning mechanism includes a pivot shaft, an operating member and a first positioning unit so arranged that operating the operating member can drive the first positioning unit to move a positioning member of the first positioning unit relative to the base of the saw machine in one of two reversed directions to lock the worktable of the saw machine to the base or to unlock the worktable from the base.

A foldable miter saw includes a base unit, a worktable, and a cutting unit adjustable between a working position where the saw blade of the cutting unit and the worktable define a contained angle within 90&#xb0;&#x2dc;45&#xb0; and a folded position where one end face of the saw blade is disposed in proximity to the working surface and one guiding member and one sliding coupling component of the worktable are disposed in proximity to a working surface of the worktable, significantly reducing the dimension of the foldable miter saw and facilitating storage and packaging.

A modular circular saw includes a base, a worktable disposed on the base and a workpiece supporting unit. The workpiece supporting unit has two supporting frames respectively and correspondingly located on two lateral sides of the worktable; each workpiece supporting unit has a supporting shaft and two corresponding extending shafts. Each extending shaft has one end pivotally connected to the base, another end of the extending shaft is pivotally connected to one end of the supporting shaft, correspondingly. When the workpiece supporting unit is in an extended position for receiving a workpiece, the two supporting shafts are substantially co-planar with the worktable, such that the two supporting shafts provides extra support to a workpiece of large size. When the workpiece supporting unit is in a folded position, the two supporting shafts are located above the worktable for minimizing the size of the saw and for allowing the user to grip the saw for easy transportation.

A safety lock mechanism mounted at a trigger switch handle of a miter saw to face toward a switch which includes a switch button pivotally mounted at the trigger switch handle to face toward the switch, and a safety lock connected to the switch button and providing an engaging portion and movable between a locking position where the engaging portion engages into the trigger switch handle to lock the switch button to the trigger switch handle and an unlocking position where the engaging portion is disengaged from the trigger switch handle for allowing the switch button to be moved relative to the trigger switch handle to trigger the switch. Thus, the arrangement of the safety lock prevents the user from accidentally forcing the switch button to trigger the switch, enhancing the operational safety of the miter saw.

A collapsible stand mainly includes a support unit including two stand legs pivotally connected together in a crossed manner and a support arm set pivotally connected to one stand leg, a positioning unit including an abutment member and a bearing member respectively mounted at one stand leg and the support art set and so configured that when the collapsible is extended out or collapsed, the abutment member is engaged with a different part of the bearing member, and a control unit mounted at one stand leg and operable to bias the abutment member, moving the abutment member into engagement or away from the bearing member. Thus, the collapsible stand has a simple structure, facilitates operation and ensures a high level of operational safety and structural stability.

A laser alignment device for a circular saw includes a base located on a blade guard of the circular saw, and a laser module mounted at the base. The laser module includes a retaining seat pivotally connected to the base, an auxiliary seat mounted at the retaining seat, and a laser beam generator installed in the auxiliary seat. A first adjusting unit includes a first knob and a first eccentric shaft connected to the first knob and coupled to a first elongated slot in the retaining seat for allowing adjustment of the angle of inclination of the laser beam generator by rotating the first knob. A second adjusting unit includes a second knob and a second eccentric shaft connected to the second knob and coupled to a second elongated slot in the auxiliary seat for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the laser beam generator by rotating the second knob.

A power tool is provided with a perforated material remover to remove perforated material from power tool cutting implements. The power tool also includes a rip guide which has a long guide edge and two attachment points to the shoe/base of the saw.
