The invention provides an in cell touch display device and a common voltage generating method thereof. The in cell touch display device includes a timing controller and a common voltage generator. The timing controller generates a control signal, divides a time section into a display scanning time section and a touch scanning time section according to the control signal, and divides the touch scanning time section into a touch start time section, a touch execution time section, and a touch end time section sequentially. The common voltage generator raises a common voltage to a first voltage in the touch start time section, provides a periodical pulse signal in the touch execution time section to generate the common voltage, and lowers the common voltage to a second voltage in the touch end time section, so as to improve the efficiency of touch scanning without affecting the efficiency of display scanning.

In cell touch display device and common voltage generating method thereof

A touch sensing device includes a substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode, a third electrode, a fourth electrode. The first electrode receives a first triggering signal. The second electrode selectively receives the first triggering signal and a second triggering signal. The first electrode and the second electrode are parallelly disposed on the substrate. The third electrode senses contact touch event according to the first triggering signal to generate a first sensing signal. The fourth electrode selectively senses the contact touch event according to the first triggering signal to generate the first sensing signal and senses contactless touch event according to the second triggering signal to generate a second sensing signal. The third electrode and the fourth electrode are parallelly disposed on the substrate, and the third electrode and the fourth electrode are vertically disposed to the first electrode and the second electrode.

Touch sensing device and touch sensing method

A capacitive fingerprint sensor and a sensing panel are provided. The capacitive fingerprinting sensor includes a sensing circuit, a level switch, an output switch. The sensing circuit has a first capacitor providing a sensing voltage according to a first sensing driving signal. A control terminal of the level switch is coupled to the sensing circuit to receive the sensing voltage, a first terminal thereof receives a high voltage level, and a second terminal thereof provides a sensing determination signal. A control terminal of the output switch receives a second sensing driving signal, a first terminal thereof is coupled to the second terminal of the level switch to receive the sensing determination signal, and a second terminal thereof is coupled to a data line. The sensing determination signal is provided through the level switch to avoid a parasitic capacitance on a trace influencing a voltage level of the sensing determination signal.

Capacitive fingerprint sensor and sensing panel thereof

A display panel including a substrate, a first and second driving chips, a circuit board and multiple second signal traces are provided. The first and second driving chips are disposed in a non-display region and located adjacent to each other. The first driving chip has multiple first pins disposed on a first short side and a first long side of the first driving chip. The second driving chip has multiple second pins disposed on a second short side and a second long side of the second driving chip. In the non-display region, a width of the circuit board is smaller than a total width of the first driving chip, the second driving chip and a distance between the first driving chip and the second driving chip, and the circuit board has a plurality of first signal traces. The display panel of the invention decreases an amount of required circuit boards.

A touch panel includes a substrate and a first electrode array. The first electrode array is disposed on the substrate and includes first and second touch regions. The first electrode array further includes first, second, third, and fourth electrodes. The first electrode is disposed on the first touch region. The second electrode is disposed on the first touch region corresponding in position to the first electrode. The third electrode is disposed on the second touch region. The fourth electrode is disposed on the second touch region corresponding in position to the third electrode. In addition, the first to fourth electrodes are all disposed on the same layer. The first electrode is disposed diagonally to the fourth electrode, and the first electrode is electrically coupled to the fourth electrode. Furthermore, a method for controlling the touch panel is also disclosed herein.

A battery includes a casing, a battery pack, and at least two electrical connecting assemblies. The casing includes an inner space and plural contact planes. Vertical directions of the contact planes are different. The battery pack includes a battery cell disposed in the inner space, and the battery cell includes a positive and a negative electrodes. The electrical connecting assemblies are electrically connected to the positive electrode and the negative electrode respectively, so as to transmit power between the battery pack and an electronic device. A capacitive touch panel comprises a touch detection array having rows of first direction detection units and columns of second direction detection units, shared scan lines, independent scan lines and a driver control module. The first direction detection units are divided into a first group and a second group of rows arranged in an alternating manner. Each shared scan line is connected to one row of the first direction detection units in the first group and one column of the second direction detection units. Each independent scan line is connected to one row of the first direction detection units or one column of the second direction detection units that is not connected to the shared scan lines. The driver control module is connected to the shared scan lines and the independent scan lines to perform scanning processes to detect a touch input. A touch detection method is also disclosed.

Disclosure is an electrode array of a touch panel, which includes a plurality of rhombus-shaped electrodes, dumbbell-shaped electrodes, and bridge wires. The rhombus-shaped electrodes are arranged along a first direction and interconnected in the first direction. The dumbbell-shaped electrodes are arranged along a second direction. Each dumbbell-shaped electrode has a first enlarged part, a second enlarged part, and a narrow part. Here, each rhombus-shaped electrode is disposed between two adjacent dumbbell-shaped electrodes along the second direction. The bridge wires are used for electrically coupling the two first enlarged parts and the two second enlarged parts of the two adjacent dumbbell-shaped electrodes, respectively. The production reliability of the present invention is increased according to the dumbbell-shaped electrodes.

A touch panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first traces, an insulation layer, a plurality of second traces, and a microcontroller. The first traces are disposed over the substrate, the insulation layer is disposed over the first traces, and the second traces are disposed over the insulation layer. The microcontroller is electrically connected to the first traces and the second traces, and is operable to control the first traces and/or the second traces so that the first traces and/or the second traces form open loops or closed loops. A driving method of an electrophoretic display is provided. The driving method includes the following steps. A plurality of pixels of a display panel of the electrophoretic display are configured as a plurality of blocks. A common voltage of the display panel is set to a first voltage. A plurality of scanning signals are inputted to a plurality of scanning lines of the display panel in order in which scanning lines corresponding to the same block receives the same scanning signal. A plurality of data lines of the display panel are measured to obtain at least one peak voltage corresponding to each of the blocks.
