Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, a transmission power adjustment indication associated with an adjustment of a transmission power corresponding to one or more channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resources. Dynamically indicating a transmission power adjustment corresponding to channel state information reference signal resources

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a first control message indicating sets of transmission parameters associated with dynamic transmission parameter adaptation. The UE may receive a second control message including an indication to switch from communicating with the network entity in accordance with a first set of transmission parameters to communicating with the network entity in accordance with a second set of transmission parameters. The UE may communicate one or more messages with the network entity based on a switch, in response to the second control message, from the first set of transmission parameters to the second set of transmission parameters in accordance with a parameter switching timeline for the dynamic transmission parameter adaptation.

Techniques for dynamic transmission parameter adaptation

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a preemption indication indicating that resources of at least one shared channel communication among one or more shared channel communications of a shared channel are to be preempted, where the one or more shared channel communications are to be time-domain reference signal (RS) bundled based at least in part on an RS associated with the shared channel. The UE may selectively perform time-domain RS bundling of the one or more shared channel communications based at least in part on the preemption indication. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Relation of shared channel reference signal bundling to a preemption indication

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for a user equipment (UE) with concurrent sidelink and network link connections to operate the sidelink connection in accordance with a configured behavior associated with a bandwidth part (BWP) operation mode on the network link. The UE behavior may include, for example, no impact on sidelink activity when the network link is in a dormant or network energy saving (NES) mode, discontinuation of sidelink operation when the BWP is configured with a dormant or NES operation mode, or sidelink operation only in an identified sidelink mode when the BWP is configured with a dormant or NES operation mode. The sidelink operation mode based on NES mode of a network link BWP may be signaled to the UE on a per-BWP basis, or based on configuration and separate indication when a BWP is enabled.

Sidelink communication techniques based on network link energy savings modes

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for improving a network energy saving (NES) mode. An example method performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a first network entity associated with a source cell, configuration information indicating one or more conditions for executing a conditional handover from the first network entity associated with the source cell to a second network entity associated with a target cell, receiving, from the first network entity associated with the source cell, a trigger signal including a trigger command for the conditional handover, and taking one or more actions related to executing the conditional handover based on the trigger signal and the one or more conditions.

Techniques for improving a network energy savings mode

A signal reporting method includes: transmitting, from a first wireless signaling device at a first time, a first PRS (positioning reference signal) to a second wireless signaling device via a first RIS (reconfigurable intelligent surface); receiving, at the first wireless signaling device at a second time, a second PRS from the second wireless signaling device via a second RIS that is physically separate from the first RIS; and providing a signal report including at least one time value corresponding to the first time and the second time, and indicative of the first PRS and the second PRS.

Uplink and downlink RIS-aided signaling

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for channel state information (CSI) report structure for dynamic antenna port adaptation. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support a CSI report configuration according to which the UE may include a respective set of CSI parameters for each of multiple codebooks. For example, the UE may compute a respective set of CSI parameters for each of multiple codebooks in accordance with a CSI report configuration and may transmit a CSI report including the respective sets of CSI parameters for each of the multiple codebooks. The network entity may use the respective sets of CSI parameters for each of the multiple codebooks to inform a dynamic antenna panel configuration update at the network entity.

Channel state information (CSI) report structure for dynamic antenna port adaptation

Aspects are provided that allow a UE to perform DMRS bundling in PUSCH repetitions in response to a configuration from a base station indicating or enabling the UE to perform the DMRS bundling. The UE receives a configuration from a base station indicating to bundle DMRS in repetitions of an uplink data channel transmission for joint channel estimation. The UE determines a DMRS bundling window based on the configuration. The UE transmits the bundled DMRS in the DMRS bundling window. The base station performs the joint channel estimation based on the bundled DMRS. Improved link quality between the UE and base station and signal gains may accordingly result from applying DMRS bundling over multiple repetitions of PUSCH transmissions.

PUSCH DMRS bundling indication for PUSCH repetitions

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of at least one of scheduling request (SR) resources or physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources, wherein the configuration indicates at least one of: a first SR resource having a first format and a first repetition-factor and a second SR resource having the first format and a second repetition-factor; or a first PUCCH resource having a second format and a third repetition-factor and a second PUCCH resource having the second format and a fourth repetition-factor; and may transmit at least one of: a first SR via the first SR resource according to the first repetition-factor; a second SR via the second SR resource according to the second repetition-factor; a first PUCCH via the first PUCCH resource according to the third repetition-factor; or a second PUCCH via the second PUCCH resource according to the fourth repetition-factor.

A method includes: transmitting, from a UE, a first on-demand request for first PRS resources of a first signal type based on reception by the UE of a first DL-RS of the first signal type with at least a first threshold quality and lack of reception of a second DL-RS of a second signal type with at least a second threshold quality, one of the first and second signal types being for non-RIS-reflected signal transfer and the other signal type being for RIS-reflected signal transfer, or transmitting, from the UE, a second on-demand request for second PRS resources for RIS-reflected signal transfer, the second on-demand request specifying a first RIS of a plurality of RISes associated with a common base station; or transmitting, from the UE, a capability message indicating that the UE supports different PRS symbol durations for RIS-reflected PRS and non-RIS-reflected PRS; or any combination thereof.

Reconfigurable intelligent surface, RIS, aided and non-RIS-aided signal timing

Some aspects described herein provide techniques and apparatuses that enable an initial transmission of a transport block over multi-slots (TBoMS) transmission triggered by a configured grant. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a transmission occasion at which to start an initial transmission of a TBoMS transmission triggered by a configured grant. The transmission occasion may correspond to a single slot of the TBoMS transmission, and the transmission occasion may be identified as a first transmission occasion of a first repetition of a set of repetitions or a first transmission occasion of any repetition of the set of repetitions. The transmission occasion may correspond to all slots of one repetition of the TBoMS transmission, and the transmission occasion may be identified as a first transmission occasion of a set of repetitions or any transmission occasion of the set of repetitions.

Initial transmission of a transport block over multi-slots transmission triggered by a configured grant

Methods, systems, and devices for preconfigured reference signal resources for secret key extraction are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a set of resources reserved for a secret key derivation process including an exchange of reference signals between the UE and a first wireless device using the set of resources. As such, the UE may transmit a first reference signal to the first wireless device using the set of resources and may receive a second reference signal from the first wireless device in accordance with the secret key derivation process. The UE may estimate a communications channel between the UE and the first wireless device and may determine the secret key based on the communications channel in accordance with the secret key derivation process. Accordingly, the UE may communicate with a selected wireless device over the communications channel using wireless communications secured using the secret key.

Preconfigured reference signal resources for secret key extraction

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), including receiving, from a network entity, default bandwidth part (BWP) configuration information for a plurality of modes of operation of the network entity, the plurality of modes comprising a first mode and a second mode, and the default BWP configuration information indicating a first default BWP for the first mode and a second default BWP for the second mode; receiving, from the network entity, a mode indication indicating the network entity is operating in the first mode; and communicating with the network entity using the first default BWP based on receiving the mode indication and based on expiration of an inactivity timer.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a transmission configuration state for receiving downlink channel transmissions from a base station via a configurable surface. The transmission configuration state may indicate a quasi-co-location source associated with transmission via the configurable surface. The UE may receive a downlink channel transmission via the configurable surface based on the transmission configuration state and the quasi-co-location source. The UE may be capable of determining whether the transmission configuration state conflicts with the quasi-co-location source indicated by the transmission configuration state. The UE may transmit an indication to the base station that the configuration for the transmission configuration state conflicts with the quasi-co-location source. The indication may include a beam failure indication or a measurement report. The UE may fall back to a transmission configuration state previously activated at the UE.

Downlink transmission configuration for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may select a network energy saving mode from a set of network energy saving modes based on traffic conditions. The network entity may transmit a message indicating the network energy saving mode, a set of operating states corresponding to the network energy saving mode, and one or more time durations corresponding to the set of operating states, the set of operating states associated with one or more operating parameters corresponding to the one or more time durations. After transmitting the message, the network entity may activate the network energy saving mode for one or more components based on the one or more time durations. The UE may receive the message and perform one or more operations in accordance with the one or more operating parameters for the one or more time durations based on receiving the message.
