An apparatus for detecting an object capable of emitting light. The apparatus comprises a light detector comprising at least two optical sensors capable of determining the intensity of the light; and a computer processing output signal generated by the optical sensors and comparing a result of the processing with a known result corresponding to a known type to determine whether the object belongs to the known type.

Apparatus and method for detection and discrimination molecular object

A control circuit of a power converter and a method therefore are provided. The control circuit comprises an input circuit, an amplifier, a PWM circuit, and a power management circuit. The input circuit is coupled to a transformer to generate a sensing signal related to an output voltage of the power converter. The amplifier generates a feedback signal according to the sensing signal and a reference signal. The PWM circuit generates a switching signal according to the feedback signal for switching the transformer and regulating the output voltage of the power converter. The power management circuit controls the reference signal according to the feedback signal. The power management circuit includes a timer for determining a period, and the output voltage of the power converter decreases while an output power of the power converter is lower than a light-load threshold. A method for controlling the control circuit is also disclosed.

Control circuit of power converter and method therefore

The present invention provides a control circuit for dimming LED lighting. The control circuit comprises a voltage divider, a controller and an adaptive bleeder. The voltage divider receives an input voltage from an input terminal to generate a dimming signal. The controller generates a switching signal in response to the dimming signal. The controller further generates a control signal in response to the input voltage. The adaptive bleeder receives the control signal and draws a bleeder current from the input terminal in response to the control signal.

Control circuit and control method for dimming LED lighting circuit

A level shifter for a gate driver has a driving transistor, a reset transistor, a charge/discharge circuit, a threshold voltage detector, and a memory capacitor. An initial threshold voltage of the driving transistor is detected by the threshold voltage detector, and then memorized in the memory capacitor. The charge/discharge circuit charges or discharges the capacitor, and receives a control signal to actuate the level shifter. The reset transistor receives an output signal of a next stage level shifter as a reset signal, so as to restore the initial status of the level shifter. In this way, the driving current output from the level shifter is irrelevant to the threshold voltage of the driving transistor.
