A vehicle message managing method includes: providing an operation message of a tire through a tire sensor; receiving the operation message through the tire sensor setting tool, or receiving at least one outer message through the tire sensor setting tool; transmitting at least one of the operation message and the outer message to a remote server; storing and analyzing at least one of the operation message and the outer message and generating an analyzing result.

A system includes detecting devices secured respectively on wheels of a vehicle at different angular positions, sensors assigned respectively to the wheels and a control unit. Each detecting device emits a detecting signal when disposed at a first position and a second position different from the first position by a first angle. The first position where each detecting device emits the detecting signal during a current rotation cycle of the respective wheel differs from that during a next rotation cycle of the respective wheel by a second angle. The control device analyzes the detecting signals and tooth number signals from the sensors to associate the detecting devices respectively with the sensors.

A method for determining position of a tire pressure monitor equipped on a tire of a vehicle. The method is performed by a controller and comprises: detecting a radial acceleration and a tangential acceleration of the tire; computing a radial-versus-gravity value and a tangent-versus-gravity value based on the radial acceleration, the tangential acceleration and a gravity acceleration; determining an operating state according to variations of the radial-versus-gravity value and the tangent-versus-gravity value; determining whether the operating state is changed to another operating state; and when the operating state is changed, determining a position of the tire pressure monitor according to a change sequence of the operating states.

A tire pressure monitoring system having a built-in bootloader includes a tire pressure detecting element and an update setting element. The tire pressure detecting element includes a flash memory, wherein the flash memory has a backup bootloader and an inner memory section. The update setting element stores a plurality of reset modules, and each of the reset modules corresponds to the inner memory section, wherein the backup bootloader is started for selecting one of the reset modules to cover the inner memory section.

Tire pressure monitoring system and resetting method thereof

A signal transponder transceiving signals using different communication protocols has a control module, a receiving module and a transmitting module. The control module is electrically connected to the receiving module and the transmitting module, is built in with multiple communication protocols, decodes a tire pressure signal transmitted from and encoded by an external tire pressure sensor with one of the communication protocols, encodes the decoded information to a new tire pressure signal, and further transmits the new tire pressure signal to a tire pressure receiver. Accordingly, there is no failure in decoding and transmissions and cost increase when the signal transponder communicates with tire pressure sensors and a tire pressure receiver using two different communication protocols.

The tire pressure monitoring device has a storage module, a receiver module and a control module. The tire pressure monitoring device retrieves a protocol by external indication or internal discrimination. The external indication is that the control module retrieves a protocol from the storage module according to an external signal, and then the control module compares the retrieved protocol with a protocol of a tire pressure signal received by the receiver module. If a comparison of the protocols matches, the tire pressure monitoring device decodes the tire pressure signal. The internal discrimination is that the control module compares different protocols stored in the storage module with a protocol of the tire pressure signal. If a comparison of the protocols matches, the tire pressure monitoring device decodes the tire pressure signal.

A collision avoidance method for transmitting data from multiple wireless tire condition sensors on a vehicle is executed by each wireless tire condition sensor having a unique ID and multiple different wake-up times. After the sensor is operated to sense data, the method has steps of reading the ID and computing a determination value with the ID and a variable, selecting one of the wake-up times according to the determination result, and after the selected wake-up time expires, transmitting the sensed data. As the selected wake-up times of the sensors differ from one another, data collision at the receiving end arising from data transmission from the sensors can be avoided. Additionally, besides the wake-up time, a time gap between data transmitted twice consecutively from each sensor can be employed to achieve data collision avoidance.

An anti-interference antenna of a wireless tire pressure receiver has an insulating cable having a main casing and a sub-casing connected side by side with the main casing. The main casing has a power cable longitudinally mounted through the main casing. The sub-casing has an antenna longitudinally mounted through the sub-casing. As the antenna is individually sleeved by the insulating sub-casing, the antenna and the power cables are isolated to prevent from interfering with each other. Besides, the insulating cable further has at least one air channel longitudinally formed through the corresponding cable and mounted with a metal layer on an inner wall of the air channel, around the power cable, around each of power wires in the power cable, or around the power cable and the air channel, and filled with an EMI-shielding matter to further isolate the antenna and the power cables.

A wireless tire pressure sensing device, a method for setting a standard tire pressure thereof and a wireless tire pressure sensing activation device adjust the tire pressure of each tire in a vehicle to a standard tire pressure according to a requirement of the vehicle after the wireless tire pressure sensing device is mounted in each tire, maintain each tire at the standard tire pressure for a preset time period or employ the wireless tire pressure sensing activation device to transmit a setup instruction to the wireless tire pressure sensing device to set a current tire pressure as the standard tire pressure. The wireless tire pressure sensing device can be set up with the standard tire pressure and conveniently modified. As no threshold value of tire pressure needs to be pre-stored, wireless tire pressure sensing devices with different threshold values are not necessarily prepared beforehand, thereby effectively lowering the stocking pressure on inventory management.

A tire pressure detecting apparatus has a micro-controller, a detecting module and a transceiver. The detecting module is electronically connected to the micro-controller and has a tire pressure detecting unit controlled by the micro-controller to detect a tire pressure inside a tire. The transceiver is electronically connected to the micro-controller, transmits a high frequency signal corresponding to detected characteristic tire parameters from the detecting module to a monitoring system inside a car and receives an external high frequency signal sent from external tire pressure detecting apparatus for the micro-controller, with the micro-controller temporarily delaying sending of the high frequency signal until a waiting time has expired to prevent signal collision between the high frequency signal and the external high frequency signal.

A tire pressure detecting apparatus has an identification rewriteable tire pressure detector and a setting apparatus. The setting apparatus is capable of reading or inputting an identification from a failure tire pressure detector, transmits the identification to the identification rewriteable tire pressure detector and writes the identification into the memory unit.
