An authentication system for authenticating an identification of a subject is provided. The authentication system includes a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor, a storage device, and a processor. The PPG sensor is configured to sense pulses of a blood vessel of the subject to generate a sensed PPG signal of the subject. The storage device stores an authentication model. The processor is configured to load the authentication model from the storage device and input the sensed PPG signal and a reference PPG signal into the authentication model to generate a result value which indicates whether the identification of the subject passes an authentication test.

Authentication system using neural network architecture

A physiological status monitoring apparatus is provided. The physiological status monitoring apparatus comprises a motion sensor, an event detector, and an estimator. The motion sensor senses movement of an object to generate a sensing signal. The event detector detects abnormal events occurring on the object according to the sensing signal. The estimator outputs an index according to at least one abnormal event which occurs during a predetermined time period to indicate a possibility of pauses in breathing.

Physiological status monitoring apparatus and method

The present invention proposes a relaxation state evaluation system and method and a computer program product thereof. The method comprises steps: measuring ECG data of a user; analyzing the ECG data to generate a first, second, third and fourth parameters, wherein the first parameter is the short-scale entropy slope of the user before cardiovascular disease treatment (CVDT); the second parameter is the difference of the post-CVDT and pre-CVDT mean RR intervals; the third parameter is the logarithm of the variance of the pre-CVDT high frequency NN intervals; the fourth parameter is the logarithm of the ratio of the variances of the pre-CVDT low frequency and high frequency NN intervals; working out an evaluation index, which is a function of the abovementioned parameters; and evaluating the relaxation state of the user, wherein the user is determined to be in a relaxation state if the evaluation index is over a threshold.
