A lightweight industrial fuse has a housing and a conductive fuse. The housing has a first plastic half-housing and a second half-housing combined with each other. The conductive fuse is integrally formed and clamped between the first and second half-housing. The conductive fuse has a fusible body and two intermediary portions disposed within the housing, and two electrode portions exposed from two opposite ends of the housing. Thus, an enclosed accommodation cavity of the housing is defined through the combination of the first and second half-housing. A manufacturing process is simplified, and a manufacturing cost is decreased, and further a weight of the industrial fuse is effectively reduced.

Lightweight industrial fuse

A power supply device is provided. The power supply device includes a power converter and a controller. The controller controls the power converter to generate an output power. The controller includes a first detection circuit and a second detection circuit. The first detection circuit detects the output power to obtain a first detection result. The first detection result is a variation of an output current value of the output power. The second detection circuit detects electrical characteristics other than the output current value to obtain a second detection result. The controller determines whether to limit output of the output power according to a relationship between the first detection result and the second detection result.

Power supply device

An easy-to-assemble fuse has a fusible body, a socket, and a cover. The fusible body is engaged with the socket. The cover is covered on the socket and the fusible body and is engaged with the socket. By the engagement between the fusible body and the socket and the engagement between the socket and the cover, the fuse achieves the purpose of fast alignment and positioning. The fuse can be quickly assembled during the manufacturing process, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process, and reducing the production cost.

Easy-to-assemble fuse

An airtight surface mount fuse with a cavity has a housing, a conductive fuse, a cover and an encapsulant. The housing has an opening and an airtight inner space. The fusible element has a part disposed inside of the airtight inner space and another part exposed from the opening. The cover is configured to fit into the opening. The encapsulant encapsulates the housing, the cover and a segment of the exposing part of the fusible element. The other segment of the fusible element is exposed from the encapsulant. The inner space of the housing is encapsulated by the encapsulant and becomes airtight. The fusible element is disposed inside of the airtight inner space to prevent the hazard occurring from arc spark interacting with flammable gases when a fusible body of the fusible element is fused. It also ensures the fusible body is affected by the external environment.

Airtight surface mount fuse with insert cavity

A protective element has a body, an inner connection layer, an outer connection layer, a heating layer and a low-melting-point alloy layer. The body is made of a single insulation material. The inner and outer connection layers are formed on two upper and lower surfaces of the body. The low-melting-point alloy layer is formed on the upper surface of the body and is electrically connected to the inner connection layer. The heating layer is mounted inside the body and is electrically connected to the low-melting-point alloy layer by the inner connection layer. The outer connection layer is electrically connected to the low-melting-point alloy layer and the heating layer. The outer connection layer is soldered on a power circuit. When the power circuit encounters overcurrent, the heating layer is heated to fuse the low-melting-point alloy layer faster. Thus, power circuit is cut to protect the power circuit.

Protective element and a fabrication method thereof

A dock and an operation method therefor are provided. The dock is suitable for propping up a mobile communication device. The dock includes an audio-receiving circuit, a rotating module, a communication circuit, and a controller circuit. The controller circuit is coupled to the audio-receiving circuit, the rotating module, and the communication circuit. The controller circuit transmits at least one of a plurality of audio signals generated by the audio-receiving circuit to the mobile communication device through the communication circuit, and determines an audio direction of an audio source according to the plurality of audio signals. The controller circuit controls the rotating module to rotate according to the audio direction, so as to bring the mobile communication device face toward the audio source.

Dock of mobile communication device and operation method therefor

A fuse includes a tubular body having two ends each having a first cap, which is formed with a through hole; a fusible and breakable unit including a first fusible filament arranged inside the tubular body and having two ends extending outward through the through holes respectively; and a plurality of second caps each of which has a surface that is formed with a recessed part and an opposite surface that is provided with a conductive wire. The recessed parts of the second caps are mounted to outer circumferences of the first caps. The two ends of the first fusible filament are respectively coupled between the first caps and the second caps corresponding thereto so as to extend a distance between the two ends of the first fusible filament and thus, preventing the occurrences of electrical arc after the first fusible filament is fused and broken.

Fuse

A fuse line fixing structure of a fuse includes a base having first and second support sections. The first support section has two sides each forming a first wing and a first concave surface is formed between the first support section and the first wings. First and second electrodes are respectively arranged at two ends of the base. The first electrode includes a first curved plate arranged between the first support section and the first wings. The first curved plate has a convex engagement surface positioned against the first concave surface and a concave engagement surface facing toward an upper side of the first concave surface. The fuse line straddles between the first and second support sections and has an outer circumferential surface in mutual contact, through surface to surface engagement, with the concave engagement surface of the first curved plate.

Fuse line fixing structure of fuse

An anti-surge winding fusible resistor fuse includes: a first column, in combination with a first cap, a first fuse wire wound around the first column at intervals and in combination with the first cap; a second fuse wire, coated on a second column in combination with the first column; a first ring, configured on a contact of the first column with the second fuse wire, and the first fuse wire in combination with the first ring; an insulation body, in combination with the second fuse wire; a third column, in combination with the insulation body and a second cap, a third fuse wire wound around the third column at intervals and in combination with the second cap; and a second ring, covered on the second fuse wire, insulation body and third column, and the third fuse wire in combination with the second ring.

Anti-surge winding fusible resistor fuse

A multi-port power supply apparatus and its operation method are provided. The multi-port power supply apparatus includes a voltage source circuit, a first voltage converter, a second voltage converter and a first common control circuit. The voltage source circuit provides a source voltage. The first voltage converter converts the source voltage into a first output voltage and outputs the first output voltage to a first connecting port of the multi-port power supply apparatus. The second voltage converter converts the source voltage into a second output voltage and outputs the second output voltage to a second connecting port of the multi-port power supply apparatus. The first common control circuit adjusts the source voltage according to a first voltage demand of the first connecting port and a second voltage demand of the second connecting port. Thus, a voltage conversion efficiency of the multi-port power supply apparatus is enhanced.

Multi-port power supply apparatus and operation method thereof

The fuse assembly contains a first casing member with a first chamber, and a second casing member with a second chamber. An enclosed space is thereby formed by joining the first and second casing members together. A disconnection member is sandwiched between the first and second casing members. The disconnection member contains two electrodes and a fuse element between the two electrodes. Each electrode contains a first lateral section, a vertical section, and a second lateral section, jointly and integrally forming a C-like shape. The electrodes are positioned at two opposing ends of the second casing member and the fuse element is housed in the enclosed space. The enclosed space allows the fuse element to break off completely, thereby avoiding electrical arc and achieving enhanced usage safety.

Fuse assembly

A current protection device includes stacking first substrate, support layer, circuit layer, and second substrate. The surface of the first substrate attached to the support layer is an arrangement surface, and the surface of the second substrate attached to the circuit layer is a contact surface. The contact surface has a second recess, and the arrangement surface selectively has a first recess. The recesses serve to release pressure and to ensure the circuit is entirely blown by over current so as to prevent an arc effect. Besides the over current protection for electric equipment, the current protection device can be applied to light and small electronic device.

Current protection device

A current protection device comprises a substrate having an upper portion and a lower portion; a fusing layer installed between the upper portion and the lower portion; ends of the fusing layer exposed from the substrate; a cavity formed near surfaces of the fusing layer for providing a space to receive the fusing layer as the fusing layer fuses; and an end electrode having three layers including a silver thin layer, a nickel thin layer and a tin thin layer; the end electrode being formed as a conductive electrode. The method for forming the same is provided.
