A display device includes a display panel including a first non-folding region, a folding region, and a second non-folding region sequentially arranged along a first direction, a first plate disposed under the display panel, a heat dissipation layer disposed under the first plate, and a first adhesive layer disposed between the first plate and the heat dissipation layer. The first adhesive layer includes a first sub adhesive layer overlapping the first non-folding region, and a second sub adhesive layer overlapping the second non-folding region, the first sub adhesive layer and the second sub adhesive layer are spaced apart from each other in the first direction, and a width of a first gap by which the first sub adhesive layer and the second sub adhesive layer are spaced apart is in a range of about 9 millimeters (mm) to about 12 mm.

Display device

An electronic device includes a display module including a display panel including a first area in which a pixel is disposed, a second area adjacent to the first area and bent with respect to an imaginary axis, a data line connected to the pixel, and a first line insulated from the pixel, an optical film, and a bending cover layer and a window module including a glass substrate and a window protective layer including a cover portion disposed on the glass substrate and a protrusion portion protruding from the cover portion. An end of the optical film and an end of the bending cover layer, which faces the end of the optical film, defines a separation area, the data line and the first line overlap the separation area when viewed in a plane, and the protrusion portion overlaps the first line in the separation area when viewed in a plane.

Electronic device

A release film on a printed circuit board and a connector connected to the printed circuit board includes a first release film disposed on a first surface of the printed circuit board and a surface of the connector, a second release film disposed on a second surface of the printed circuit board opposite to the first surface of the printed circuit board, and a first adhesive attached to a portion of a surface of the first release film that does not overlap the second release film, extending towards the second release film and covering a portion of a surface of the second release film that does not face the first release film.

Release film

A display device includes a display module including a first non-folding region, a folding region, and a second non-folding region arranged in a first direction, a first support plate disposed on the display module, a second support plate disposed on the first support plate, a heat dissipation layer disposed between the first and second support plates, and including a bending portion overlapping the folding region, a first adhesive layer disposed between the first support plate and the heat dissipation layer, and a second adhesive layer disposed between the second support plate and the heat dissipation layer. An opening defined in each of the first and second adhesive layers has a width greater than a width of the bending portion of the heat dissipation layer in a portion overlapping the folding region.

Display device and electronic device including the same

A display device includes a display panel including a folding region at which the display panel is foldable, and in order from the display panel a first plate facing the display panel and including a lower surface furthest from the display panel, a heat dissipation layer facing the first plate, and a second plate facing the heat dissipation layer, the second plate defining a first opening which exposes the lower surface of the first plate to outside the second plate.

A release film includes a first release film disposed on a printed circuit board and a connector that is connected to the printed circuit board. The first release film comprises a fixing portion having a shape extending in one direction. A second release film is disposed under the printed circuit board. The second release film includes an incision portion. The fixing portion extends into the incision portion.

A display device includes a display module, on which a display area and a non-display area are defined, and a window module disposed on the display module. The window module includes a first window, a second window disposed under the first window, and a bezel pattern overlapping the non-display area. When viewed from a plan view in a thickness direction of the display device, at least a portion of an edge of the second window does not overlap the bezel pattern.

A display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area, a display element layer, a pad group, a touch electrode layer, and a touch insulation layer. The display element layer includes display elements disposed in the display area. The pad group is disposed on the substrate and includes output pads disposed in the non-display area. The output pads include central output pads and outer output pads disposed outside the central output pads in a first direction. The touch electrode layer is disposed on the display element layer. The touch insulation layer is disposed on the display element layer and contacts the touch electrode layer. A groove pattern is defined in the touch insulation layer overlapping the non-display area, and does not overlap at least a predetermined number of the outer output pads in a second direction.
