In so doing, the method for transmitting the HARQ feedback information in a receiving end includes confirming the number of packets received from a transmitting end, and when receiving a reference number of packets from the transmitting end, transmitting to the transmitting end a feedback signal comprising HARQ feedback information for the reference number of the packets.

A method of operating a terminal that is related to achieving synchronization in a wireless communication system is provided. The statistical signal generator generates a plurality of signals having the same characteristic as that of a reception signal using a channel determined through a channel estimation process. In addition, when handover to a target cell for a specific terminal from among said terminals is determined, the base station generates second control information for indicating the target cell, scrambles the second control information using a cell RNTI (C-RNTI) of the specific terminal, and transmits the scrambled control information to the specific terminal via the control channel, to thereby indicate cell reselection and/or handover to the target cell.
