Channel state information (CSI) feedback for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH)

Methods, systems, and devices for method for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive first control signaling indicating a first set of communication occasions for periodic transmission or periodic reception in accordance with a first periodicity and may receive second control signaling indicating a second set of communication occasions that differs in timing from the first set of communication occasions. The UE may shift a first occasion of the first set of communication occasions to align the first occasion of the first set of communication occasions within a threshold time period from a first occasion of the second set of communication occasions. The UE may then communicate on the first occasion of the second set of communication occasions and on the first occasion of the first set of communication occasions.

Techniques for aligning communications

Aspects described herein relate to receiving control information activating periodic resources defined in a configuration for wireless communication, wherein the control information indicates resources for transmitting a control information response, and transmitting, to the second node and based on one or more power-related parameters of the first node, the control information response indicating a modification for one or more parameters related to the periodic resources. Other aspects relate to transmitting the control information and receiving the control information response.

Techniques for control information parameter modification in wireless communications

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) entering a dormant state with respect to a secondary cell group (SCG) of a node network (SN) having a primary serving cell (PSCell). In one aspect, the UE may maintain a parameter set for at least the PSCell while the UE is in the dormant state with respect to the SCG. For example, the UE may receive a parameter change message from either the SN or a master network (MN) and transmit a parameter change acknowledgment to either the SN or the MN. The parameter change message may be transmitted as one or both of a downlink control information (DCI) or media access control (MAC) control element (CE). The UE may transmit physical layer measurements to the SN based on the parameter set.

User equipment (UE) physical layer measurement reporting in secondary cell group (SCG) dormancy

In an aspect, a UE receives, while a secondary cell group (SCG) is associated with a dormant state, at least one downlink transmit beam associated with at least one cell of the SCG. The UE determines, while the SCG is associated with the dormant state, an uplink transmit beam for a primary secondary cell (PSCell) of the SCG based on one or more of a spatial relation indication (SRI), whether there is beam correspondence between the at least one downlink transmit beam and the uplink transmit beam, a default uplink transmit beam, or a combination thereof. The UE transmits a signal related to a measurement between the UE and the one or more SCells of the SCG on the determined uplink transmit beam.

Beam management for a secondary cell group in a dormant state

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a UE may report channel state feedback (CSF) to a network entity based on channel state information (CSI) measurements and CLI measurements. In another aspect, a UE may explicitly report CLI measurements to a network entity. In yet another aspect, a UE may report a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) to a network entity based on CLI measurements, and the network entity may trigger the UE to perform further CLI measurements on signals received from other UEs based on the SINR. In yet another aspect, a UE may generate a report using CLI measurements based on whether the UE is allocated enough time to generate and transmit the report. In yet another aspect, a UE may identify a suitable priority for reporting CLI to a network entity.

Prioritization and timing for cross-link interference reporting

Systems and techniques are provided for performing wireless communications. In some aspects, a use equipment (UE) may receive a crosslink interference (CLI) training session configuration from a network entity, wherein the CLI training session configuration corresponds to a CLI training session for a plurality of UEs including the UE. The UE may determine a CLI feedback information associated with performing the CLI training session and may transmit the CLI feedback information to the network entity. The CLI feedback information may be indicative of CLI between the UE and one or more additional UEs.

Distributed cross-link interference (CLI) management

An apparatus comprises: an interface; a memory; and a processor, communicatively coupled to the interface and the memory, configured to: instruct a node to send a first cellular reference signal to a target UE (user equipment) and to another UE, the node being a cellular-communication node; instruct, via the interface, the target UE to report to the node a first time difference, the first time difference being a first time amount between receipt of the first cellular reference signal by the target UE and transmission of a second cellular reference signal by the target UE; and instruct, via the interface, the other UE to report a second time difference, the second time difference being a second time amount between receipt of the first cellular reference signal by the other UE and receipt of the second cellular reference signal, in a cross-link interference resource, by the other UE.

RTT-based positioning with CLI measurement

Wireless communications systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a network unit via a single physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication, a configuration scheduling multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communications; transmitting, to the network unit via a first cell, a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) communication comprising acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback associated with a first subset of the multiple PDSCH communications; and transmitting, to the network unit, via a second cell, a second PUCCH communication comprising ACK/NACK feedback associated with a second subset of the multiple PDSCH communications, wherein the second cell is different from the first cell.

Carrier switching in hybrid automatic repeat requests

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI) that schedules multiple communications for each of one or more UEs in a group of UEs, the one or more UEs including the UE. Downlink control information scheduling multiple downlink or uplink communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support enhanced scheduling request configurations. A user equipment (UE) may obtain, at a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer of the UE, information associated with a data packet for transmission by the UE. The UE may transmit a scheduling request that indicates information regarding an elapsed time period since the information associated with the data packet was obtained at the PDCP layer of the UE, or whether the data packet is a final packet of a set of data packets, or both. A network entity may receive the scheduling request and determine scheduling information for uplink communications by the UE based on the information regarding the elapsed time period, or whether the data packet is the final data packet, or both. The network entity may transmit the scheduling information to the UE.

Enhanced scheduling request configurations for wireless communications

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for high speed beam management. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving beamformed signals from at least one base station (BS); determining that the UE is in a high mobility state and one or more parameters associated with the high mobility state, based on the received signals; transmitting at least one of the one or more parameters to the at least one BS; and communicating with the at least one BS based on the one or more parameters.

High speed beam management

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may receive an allocation of a set of sensing resources and a set of cross-link interference measurement resources. The UE may identify a sensing resource of the set of sensing resources on which a sensing signal is received, and determine one or more of the set of cross-link interference measurement resources that overlap with the sensing resource. The UE may thereby measure the one or more cross-link interference measurement resources for cross-link interference based on the one or more cross-link interference measurement resources overlapping with the sensing resource.

Interference measurement based on multiple sensing resource candidates

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Sidelink communications between user equipments (UE)s may include services that demand low latency and high reliability, such as extended reality (XR) and ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC). Given the latency demands for XR and URLLC, XR and URLLC may be higher priority than other communications types. A UE may determine that data for transmission over sidelink has a high priority level based on a remaining packet delay budget associated with the data. UEs may monitor for sidelink transmissions in accordance with network configured discontinuous reception (DRX) cycles. The DRX cycles configured by the network for sidelink communications, however, may not match with the periodicity of XR traffic. For XR communications, the transmitting UE may indicate an offset to apply to a DRX cycle such that the receiving UE may adjust the DRX cycle to match the periodicity of the XR communications.

Support of low latency transmissions in sidelink

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration indicating an interference reciprocity between the first UE and a second UE, where the interference reciprocity is associated with cross link interference (CLI) between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may also receive, from the base station, an indication of a transmit power of the second UE. The first UE may measure a pathloss associated with the CLI between the first UE and the second UE based at least in part on the received transmit power of the second UE. The first UE may determine a transmit power for transmission of one or more uplink messages based at least in part on the measured pathloss and transmit the uplink messaged using the determined transmit power.
