A display system for imaging a user body portion includes a display panel, an optical sensor disposed on the display panel and configured to detect light reflected by the user body portion, and an optical stack disposed between the display panel and the optical sensor. The optical stack includes a first optical reflector and a light collimating film. The light collimating film includes a plurality of substantially coplanar alternating first and second regions. For an incident light, a visible wavelength range, and an infrared wavelength range, and for each of a first incident angle of less than about 5 degrees and a second incident angle of between about 40 degrees and about 70 degrees, the plurality of polymeric layers has an average optical reflectance of greater than about 70% in the visible wavelength range and an optical transmittance of greater than about 30% in the infrared wavelength range.

Large area infrared sensor film

A housing () for an electronic device () includes an optical film () having an optical transmittance for substantially normally incident light having a band edge separating first and second wavelength ranges, where the first wavelength range extends from about 400 nm to about 700 nm and the second wavelength range is at least about 100 nm wide and disposed between about 800 nm and about 1100 nm. For substantially normally incident light, an average optical reflectance of the optical film is greater than about 90% in the first wavelength range, and an average optical transmittance of the optical film is greater than about 80% in the second wavelength range. For at least one frequency in a range of about 0.1 GHz to about 90 GHz and for substantially normally incident radiation, the optical film transmits at least about 95% of the incident radiation.

An optical stack () includes a substrate (), a radio-wave anti-reflection sheet () configured to reduce reflection from the optical stack () of radio waves at a predetermined operating frequency (f), and a visible light reflective, infrared light transmissive multilayer optical film () disposed between the radio-wave anti-reflection sheet () and the substrate (). For radiation substantially normally incident on the radio-wave anti-reflection sheet () and for a first frequency range at least 20 GHZ wide, centered on the predetermined operating frequency (f), and disposed between about 1 GHZ and about 120 GHZ, a return loss of the optical stack () is asymmetric about the predetermined operating frequency (f) in the first frequency range. The optical stack () has a largest return loss SL in the first frequency range of less than −10 dB and a difference between the largest return loss SL and a smallest return loss SS in the first frequency range is less than about 2 dB.

Optical stack including multilayer optical film and radio-wave anti-reflection sheet

The present disclosure provides a touch display panel and its controlling method. The touch display panel includes a plurality of first touch electrodes and a plurality of first touch electrode lines arranged on an array substrate, a plurality of second touch electrodes and a plurality of second touch electrode lines arranged on a color filter substrate, and region scanning electrodes. Each first touch electrode line is connected to each first touch electrode, and each second touch electrode line is connected to each second touch electrode. All the first touch electrodes are located at one half of a display region of the touch display panel, and all the second touch electrodes are located at the other half of the display region of the display panel.

Embodiments of the invention disclose a transflective liquid crystal panel based on ADS display mode and a display device. Each pixel unit is provided with a transmissive region and a reflective region, a thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the transmissive region is larger than that of liquid crystal layer in the reflective region. Moreover, an optical retardation film and a reflection layer are disposed in a region corresponding to the reflective region; wherein the optical retardation film is adapted for compensating optical retardation caused by a difference in the thicknesses of the liquid crystal layer in the transmissive and reflective regions.
