A display device may include a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a data driver which applies data signals to the display panel, a scan driver including scan stages, which sequentially applies scan signals to the display panel, an emission driver including an emission stage which sequentially applies emission signals to the display panel, and a power supply voltage generator which generates a power supply voltage including high voltages and low voltages, and provides the high voltages having different voltage levels from each other or the low voltages having different voltage levels from each other to at least one selected from the scan stages and the emission stage. The power supply voltage generator generates a first high voltage, a first low voltage, a second high voltage lower than the first high voltage, and a second low voltage higher than the first low voltage based on an input voltage.

Display device and method of operating the same

A display device includes a substrate including a first pixel area and a second pixel area, a display panel disposed on the substrate and including a first light-emitting diode emitting a first light having a first color and overlapping the first pixel area and a second light-emitting diode emitting a second light having the first color and overlapping the second pixel area, a first pixel electrode which is disposed on the display panel and overlaps the first pixel area, and in which first slits are defined, a second pixel electrode which is disposed on the display panel, is spaced apart from the first pixel electrode, and overlaps the second pixel area, and in which second slits extending in a direction different from the first slits are defined, a common electrode layer and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second pixel electrodes and the common electrode layer and including a plurality of liquid crystal molecules.

Display device

Provided is a display apparatus including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a gate line, a data line, a storage electrode, and a switching element. The switching element is connected to a data line and a gate line. The first substrate further includes a pixel electrode, a shielding electrode, and first and second capacitor electrodes. The pixel electrode is connected to an output electrode of the switching element, and the shielding electrode includes a line portion disposed along the data line and an extension portion extended from the line portion. The first capacitor electrode is extended from the output electrode and overlaps the pixel electrode and the storage electrode. The second capacitor electrode is disposed spaced apart from the first capacitor electrode and overlaps the extension portion electrode the shielding electrode and the storage electrode.

Display apparatus

The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a display panel including each of gate lines extending in a first direction, each of sub-gate lines which extends in a second direction crossing the first direction and is electrically connected to the gate line, each of first data lines, each of second data lines, each of first pixels, and each of second pixels, and a driving circuit for providing a gate signal and data signals, wherein a second capacitance between a second drain electrode and a second gate electrode of the second pixel is greater than a first capacitance between a first drain electrode and a first gate electrode of the first pixel.

Display device to improve display quality while minimizing bezel area

A thin film transistor (TFT) and a display device including the same capable of displaying an image having a uniform luminance are provided, the TFT including a gate electrode; a gate insulating layer disposed on the gate electrode; a semiconductor layer disposed on the gate insulating layer; a source electrode and a drain electrode disposed on the semiconductor layer while being spaced apart from one another; and a protective layer disposed on the source electrode and the drain electrode and having a contact hole through which a portion of the drain electrode is exposed, wherein the drain electrode includes a first drain electrode overlapping a portion of the gate electrode, a second drain electrode extending from the first drain electrode and having a portion exposed through the contact hole, and a third drain electrode branched from the first drain electrode to be spaced apart from the second drain electrode.
