The present invention provides a composite layer agglomerating adsorbent, comprising an outer adsorbent layer containing a low silica X molecular sieve and an inner adsorbent layer containing a high silica X molecular sieve, the low silica X molecular sieve has a silica/alumina molar ratio of 2.07-2.18, the high silica X molecular sieve has a silica/alumina molar ratio of 2.2-2.5, based on the total amount of the adsorbent, the adsorbent comprises 95.0-100 mass % of the X molecular sieve and 0-5.0 mass % of the matrix, the cation sites of the X molecular sieve in the adsorbent are occupied by a metal of Group IIA or occupied together by a metal of Group IA and a metal of Group IIA. The adsorbent is suitable for the process of adsorptive separation of PX from Caromatic hydrocarbons using light aromatic hydrocarbons as desorbent, and has high adsorption selectivity and good mass transfer performance.

Composite layer agglomerating adsorbent and preparation process thereof

A process for producing para-xylene and ethylbenzene from Caromatics containing ethylbenzene includes the steps of sending Caromatics containing ethylbenzene to an ethylbenzene liquid-phase adsorption separation device, wherein a suction liquid containing ethylbenzene and a suction residual liquid are obtained after the adsorption separation, and the desorbents in the suction liquid and the suction residual liquid are removed to obtain ethylbenzene and a suction residual oil; sending the suction residual oil to a para-xylene adsorption separation device, and unadsorbed components are discharged as a raffinate from the adsorbent bed; the adsorbent bed is rinsed with a desorbent to desorb the para-xylene therein and obtain an extract; the desorbents in the extract and the raffinate are respectively removed to obtain para-xylene and a raffinate oil; sending the raffinate oil to a xylene isomerization device to carry out xylene isomerization, and the isomerization product is fractionated.

Process for producing p-xylene and ethylbenzene from Caromatic containing ethylbenzene

The present invention relates to a process for separating isomers by simulated moving bed (SMB) adsorption, comprising separating the raw materials comprising isomers by SMB adsorption, said SMB comprising many adsorption beds each of which is equipped with grids, each of the grids being equipped with the feedstock inlet and outlet pipeline of the bed, the feedstock charged into and discharged from SMB at least comprising feedstocks, desorbent, extract, and raffinate, the extract being enriched with the target product, characterized in that the extract is used as a flushing liquid and respectively charged to first or second bed at the upstream of the feedstock charging position and to one of second to fourth beds at the downstream of the extract withdrawing position. Such process is used for separation of Caromatic isomers by adsorption, and can improve the capacity of the device while effectively increasing the purity of the target product separated by adsorption.

Process and device for separation by simulated moving bed adsorption

An agglomerated zeolite adsorbent which comprises 95-99.5 mass % of X zeolite and 0.5-5.0 mass % of binder, wherein the exchangeable cationic sites of said X zeolite are occupied by Group IIA metal and/or K, the total pore volume of said adsorbent is no less than 0.26 mL/g as measured by mercury porosimetry, the volume of pores with pore diameters from 100 to 500 nm is at least 60% based on the total pore volume. During shaping, a pore-forming agent is added to this adsorbent, and then the adsorbent is alkali treated for in-situ crystallization, followed by ion exchange. Said adsorbent has high adsorption capacity, fast mass transfer rate and good mechanical strength. Said adsorbent is suitable for liquid phase adsorptive separation of para-xylene from Caromatic hydrocarbons and is also suitable for adsorptive separation of other alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons isomers.
