The present disclosure relates to methods and mobile terminals for displaying multiple application windows. One example method includes determining a window width and a window height of a first application window in a current placement direction. If a value relationship between the window width and the window height is that the window width is greater than the window height, loading a landscape display resource of the first application in the current placement direction. If a value relationship between the window width and the window height is that the window width is less than the window height, loading a portrait display resource of the first application in the current placement direction.

Method for displaying multiple application windows by mobile terminal, and mobile terminal

A terminal includes a display screen with an irregular shape and a front panel component disposed on a same layer as the display screen. The display screen includes a target region and a main display region. The display region is a complete rectangular region on the display screen. The target region is an irregular region other than the main display region on the display screen. A gap formed by the irregular region is a reserved region, and the front panel component is disposed in the reserved region.

Display method and terminal

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for displaying multiple application windows by a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal, to display multiple application windows on one display screen based on display resource statuses of the application windows. In one implementation, a current placement direction of the mobile terminal is obtained. A window width and height of a first application window in the current placement direction is determined. If the window width is greater than the window height, a landscape display resource of the first application in the current placement direction is loaded when a user interface of the first application is displayed in the first application window. If the window width is less than the window height, a portrait display resource of the first application in the current placement direction is loaded when a user interface of the first application is displayed in the first application window.

A terminal includes a processor, a memory, and an input device. A display screen with an irregular shape and a front panel component disposed on a same layer as the display screen are disposed on a front panel of the terminal. The display screen includes a target region and a main display region, the main display region is a complete rectangular region on the display screen, the target region is an irregular region other than the main display region on the display screen, a gap formed by the irregular region is a reserved region, and the front panel component is disposed in the reserved region.

A lock screen interface processing method includes presenting, by a terminal, a lock screen interface, obtaining, by the terminal, an unlocking operation, where the unlocking operation includes at least one of an operation performed in the lock screen interface and an operation performed in a fingerprint recognition area, presenting, by the terminal, a prompt interface when a quantity of unlocking failures reaches M, where the prompt interface prompts a user to enter a preset operation, M is less than N, and N is a quantity of unlocking failures that triggers a security mode, obtaining, by the terminal, the preset operation triggered by the user, and presenting the lock screen interface.

Lock screen interface processing method and terminal

A method includes receiving an instruction for switching display orientation of a screen from a first display orientation to a second display orientation, and obtaining display orientation configuration information of page display of an application currently displayed on the screen. The method also includes modifying the display orientation configuration information and a page display size of the application, when the display orientation configuration information sets that the application supports only display in the first display orientation. The method also includes switching the display orientation of the screen according to the instruction, and displaying the application with the modified page display size on the screen after the display orientation of the application is switched from the first display orientation to the second display orientation.

An object dimension measurement method and apparatus, where the object dimension measurement method includes obtaining a horizontal distance between a photographing terminal and a photographed object or a vertical distance between the photographing terminal and a horizontal plane, obtaining a camera imaging angle when the photographing terminal photographs the photographed object, calculating a deflection angle of a camera in a vertical direction when the photographing terminal photographs the photographed object, obtaining through calculation an imaging distance of the photographed object on a display screen of the photographing terminal according to a trigonometric relationship among the horizontal distance or the vertical distance, the camera imaging angle, the deflection angle, and the imaging distance, and obtaining through conversion an actual dimension of the photographed object according to the imaging distance. Hence, an object dimension can be accurately measured without using a special measuring tool.
