A portable storage device comprises a housing having a first opening, a first directing portion and a second opening, and a main body having a storage portion, a connecting portion corresponding to the first opening, a second directing portion corresponding to the first directing portion, and a hanging portion corresponding to the second opening. The main body is slidably located inside the housing and is slidable between a first position and a second position. When the main body is situated at the first position, the connecting portion is exposed outside the first opening, and the hanging portion is hidden in the housing. The storage device is at a status of being used. When the main body is situated at the second position, the connecting portion is hidden in the housing, and the hanging portion is exposed outside the second opening. The storage device is at a status of being housed.

Portable storage device

A portable storage device, such as a USB portable disk drive, comprises a main body and a flexible casing. The main body has a connecting portion and a lamp portion. The flexible casing is attached to the main body and encircles the connecting portion. When the flexible casing is compressed and situated at a first position, the connecting portion is exposed outside the flexible casing, and the portable storage device is at a status of being used. When the flexible casing is not compressed and is situated at a second position, the connecting portion is hidden in the flexible casing, and the portable storage device is at a status of being housed. The lamp portion can be a light emitting diode (LED) for showing the operating status of the portable storage device, and a light-directing portion can be located at the outside of the lamp portion.

Portable information storage device

A portable storage device, such as a USB portable disk drive, comprises a main body and a rotation arm. The main body comprises a storage portion, a connection portion and a back portion. The connection portion comprises a first fastening portion, and the back portion comprises a second fastening portion. The rotation arm is rotatably connected to the main body, and the rotation arm has a third fastening portion corresponding to the first fastening portion and the second fastening portion. When the rotation arm is situated at a first position, the first fastening portion is engaged with the third fastening portion, and the portable storage device is at a status of being housed. When the rotation arm is situated at the second position, the second fastening portion is engaged with the third fastening portion, and the portable storage device is at a status of being used.
