A sensor fusion system for an autonomous vehicle and/or advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that combines measurements from multiple independent sensors to generate a better output. The multiple sensors can interact and perform 'cross-training' for enhanced sensor performance. The sensor fusion system utilizes data exchange and cross-training between sensors for enhanced sensor performance while constantly improving sensor fusion results. Some exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system for an autonomous vehicle and/or a vehicle ADAS that combines information from independent sensors in order to accurately distinguish environmental objects and movements. This allows the vehicle to accurately make informed navigation decisions based on the environmental surroundings. The sensor fusion system can exchange ground truth information between the sensors related to a same object, which allows for constant machine learning object classification and constant speed/distance estimation calibration.

Method and apparatus for enhanced camera and radar sensor fusion

Systems and methods which provide data communication content delivery through a hybrid network implementation are disclosed. A hybrid network configuration may utilize a broadcast communication technique to deliver large amounts of data communication content to one or more mobile communication device via uni-directional network links and a uni-cast communication technique via bi-directional network links with the one or more mobile communication device to facilitate delivery and utilization of the data communication content. Embodiments of systems and methods for efficient broadcasting via random linear packet combining are described. A plurality of data packets are received from a data source according to embodiments. The plurality of data packets is divided into a plurality of data blocks, and bits associated with the plurality of data blocks are multiplied by a set of coefficients to generate a plurality of product values. An encoded data packet having a plurality of encoded data blocks may also be generated by linearly combining the plurality of product values for respective data blocks of each of the plurality of data packets into corresponding encoded data blocks of the encoded data packet. Because each encoded data packet includes information about a complete set of data packets, rather than just a subset, less broadcast redundancy may be required.
