The present invention relates to an ECG electrode connector () and an ECG cable. To eliminate a trunk cable of a conventional ECG cable arrangement, the ECG electrode connector () is configured for mechanically and electrically connecting an ECG electrode with a lead wire. It comprises a connection arrangement () for mechanically connecting the ECG electrode connector () with an ECG electrode (), a lead wire terminal () for connection with a signal line () of a lead wire (), a shield terminal () for connection with a shield () of the lead wire (), an electrode contact () for contacting an electrical contact () of the ECG electrode (), a voltage clamping element () coupled between the lead wire terminal () and the shield terminal (), and a resistor () coupled between the lead wire terminal () and the electrode contact ().

The present invention relates to a medical coupling unit for electrical signal transmission between the medical coupling unit () and a medical sensor () coupled to the medical coupling unit. ECG connector and ECG cable

The present invention relates to an adapter () for coupling with a medical coupling unit () and a medical sensor () that are configured for being coupled for electrical signal transmission between them. The adapter comprises an adapter coupling unit () configured to fit with a coupling-side connector () of the medical coupling unit () and including a plurality of coupling-side electrical contacts () for contacting a plurality of electrical contacts () of the coupling-side connector () and a sensor-side connector () configured to fit with a sensor-side connector () of the medical sensor () and including a plurality of sensor-side electrical contacts () for contacting a plurality of electrical contacts () of the sensor-side connector (), allowing the adapter coupling unit () to be mechanically coupled between the medical coupling unit () and the medical sensor (). Adapter and connection unit for coupling with medical coupling unit and sensor

A power supply system () is provided which comprises a first input (), an output (), a DC-DC converter (), a rectifying circuit () and a voltage limiter (). An AC voltage is received by the first input. Power is supplied to a load () via the output. The DC-DC converter comprises a second input () which is capacitively coupled to the first input, and the DC-DC converter provides power to the output. The rectifying circuit is capacitively coupled to the first input and is arranged between the first input and the output. The rectifying circuit provides a rectified output voltage to the output. The voltage limiter is coupled to the output and limits the rectified voltage to a predefined voltage.

Capacitively coupled power supply system

To avoid clock signals and to separate power wiring from control wiring in a driver, and to avoid three-terminal light emitting diodes with control electrodes, a driver for driving light emitting diode circuits () is provided with first and second terminals () for receiving a voltage signal from a source () and with a first switching circuit () coupled to the second terminal () and to a third terminal (). The first and the thirdterminal () are to be coupled to electrodes of a first light emitting diode circuit (). The first switching circuit () comprises a first switch () and a first timing circuit () for, in response to a first pulse signal as added to the voltage signal, activating the first switch () to switch on the first light emitting diode circuit (). Sequential pulse signals may be used to sequentially switch on light emitting diode circuits ().

Light emitting device and system

A distance measurement arrangement provides a distance indication based on a delay between an electromagnetic signal, transmitted in a transmission mode, and a reflection of the electromagnetic signal, received in a reception mode. The distance measurement arrangement includes an antenna module having a plurality of antennas for transmitting the electromagnetic signal and for receiving the reflection. A beam-forming module defines respective magnitude and phase relationships with respect to respective antennas so as to cause the antenna module to provide a directional antenna pattern in at least one the two modes. A beam-forming and steering control module controls the respective magnitude and phase relationships as a function of a direction command. A 3-D picture can be formed by applying respective direction commands so as to obtain respective distance indications for respective portion in a two-dimensional picture.

Distance measurement

The invention relates to a receiver () comprising an amplifier (-) for amplifying an antenna signal, which amplifier (-) comprises an amplifier input () and an amplifier output (), the amplifier input () being a single ended input for receiving the antenna signal, the amplifier output () being a differential output, and the amplifier (-) comprising circuit () for reducing a common mode input impedance of the amplifier (-).

The invention relates to a receiver () comprising an amplifier (-) for amplifying an antenna signal, which amplifier (-) comprises an amplifier input () and an amplifier output (), the amplifier input (11) being a single ended input for receiving the antenna signal, the amplifier output () being a differential output, and the amplifier (-) comprising a circuit () for compensating a series input impedance of the amplifier (-).

The present invention relates to an amplifier intended to deliver to a load impedance RL connected between two output terminals of the amplifier an output current Iout which is representative of an input signal (Vin, &#x2212;Vin) applied to two input terminals of the amplifier, which amplifier includes a first and a second transistor Tand Tconnected as a differential pair around the load impedance RL. The amplifier according to the invention further includes a third and a fourth transistor Tand Twhich form a differential pair; degenerated by means of a degenerating impedance Req which has a nominal value equal to that of the load impedance RL of the amplifier, which differential pair (T, T) is intended to be controlled by means of a control signal (&#x2212;Vin/, Vin/), in anti-phase with the input signal (Vin, &#x2212;Vin). The invention permits to double the output current Iout of the amplifier without, however, increasing its power consumption.

A voltage-controlled oscillator comprising a LC tank circuit coupled to a pair of transistors and crossed-coupled to a pair of emitter follower transistors each transistor having a collector, an emitter and a base, the voltage controlled oscillator being characterized in that a supply voltage applied to the collectors of the emitter follower transistors is substantially different from a supply voltage applied to the bases of the emitter follower transistors.
