A wheelset guide for a rail vehicle, which has a bogie frame, includes at least one longitudinal support, and includes a wheelset bearing for a wheelset of the rail vehicle, wherein the wheelset bearing is connected to the bogie frame and includes a rocker that is pivotably attached to the bogie frame via an elastic rocker bearing, and a pin guided by the rocker bearing, where the bogie frame forms a receptacle for the rocker bearing, which is configured such that the force is introduced into the bogie frame via the rocker bearing itself, and the rocker bearing is positioned in the receptacle in order to improve the strength and stability of the attachment of the rocker to the bogie frame or to the longitudinal support with an open profile.

A device for reducing vibrations of a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, wherein the device includes at least a vehicle frame, a brake carrier, a mechanically operative brake unit and a suspension bracket that interconnects the vehicle frame and brake carrier, where the suspension bracket includes at least one element elastically connecting the vehicle frame to the brake carrier that allows movement of the brake carrier in the transverse direction of the vehicle frame in order to dampen vibrations.

A chassis for rail vehicles, particularly with inside-supported wheelsets, wherein the drive unit is elastically supported transversely to the travel direction via spring devices within the chassis frame, where the vibrational behavior is optimized and the space available for the drive unit is enlarged because the spring devices are supported directly on the housing of the bearing of the wheelset.

Chassis for rail vehicles

A bogie for locomotives is provided. Two wheelsets, each including a drive unit, are disposed in a bogie frame, wherein the wheelsets each include a wheelset shaft and two wheels. The drive unit comprises a motor unit and a transmission disposed to ride on an axle, and each motor unit is suspended at three points, namely at a main pivot point on the transverse beam of the bogie frame and two mounting points on a head beam of the bogie frame. Further, the motor unit is transversally elastically suspended; the transmission is mounted pivotally about the wheelset shaft but not displaceable along the wheelset shaft. The transmission is further connected to the motor unit by a transmission torque support, and the drive unit comprises a clutch by which the motor unit has a driving connection to the wheelset by the transmission.

Drive having axle-mounted transmission for high speeds

A traction vehicle, in particular railway traction vehicle, comprising a bogey chassis mounted on wheel axles, a vehicle chassis spring-mounted on the bogey chassis and at least one motor-transmission unit mounted underneath the vehicle chassis and within the bogey chassis close to the wheel axle driven by the motor-transmission unit. The motor-transmission unit is suspended from the bogey chassis by a pendulum suspension close to the set of wheels in the bogey chassis. The motor-transmission unit is also suspended in the vehicle by a pendulum suspension. The motor transmission unit is provided with a pair of connecting rods in which either or both are connected to the bogey chassis or the vehicle chassis. The connecting rods are arranged with one rod parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the other rod being either parallel to or angularly related to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
