Disclosed is a pump assembly having slidingly engaged upper and lower sleeves, and a pump having inlet and outlet ends and a pump chamber therebetween. Movement of the lower sleeve towards the upper sleeve causes the pump chamber to reduce in volume. The outlet end of the pump has a shoulder between a first diameter portion and an outlet nozzle extending downwardly from the shoulder and having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter portion. The lower end of the lower sleeve includes a shied extending from a lowermost rim upwards and inwards to terminate at an orifice that is larger than the second diameter but smaller than the first diameter portion. The shoulder supporting against a lip of the orifice and the outlet nozzle extending through the orifice to terminate at a dispersion location within the shield at a distance L from the orifice.

The disclosure relates to a fluid pump including a plastomer spring with a captive valve element provided in an integrally formed valve chamber. The spring includes a first end portion and a second end portion and one or more spring sections connecting the first end portion to the second end portion, which spring sections can be compressed in the axial direction from an initial condition to a compressed condition and can subsequently expand to their initial condition. The valve chamber is formed in the first end portion.

A fluid pump includes a plastomer spring. The spring includes a first end portion and a second end portion and a plurality of rhombus shaped spring sections, joined together in series at adjacent corners and aligned with each other in an axial direction to connect the first end portion to the second end portion. The spring sections can be compressed in the axial direction from an initial condition to a compressed condition and can subsequently expand to their initial condition.

A pump for dispensing a fluid product from a product container, includes a unitary pump body defining an axis and including a pump chamber, a pump inlet and a pump outlet. The pump chamber is collapsible over an axially directed pumping stroke from an initial condition to a collapsed condition and is biased to return to its initial condition in a return stroke. An axially compressible spring is arranged to at least partially support the pump body during its collapse.

A disposable pump for liquid dispensing includes a chamber in which pressure may be varied for pumping liquid from a compressible container to the chamber to a dispensing opening. The chamber encloses an inner valve that regulates liquid flow between the container and the chamber, and an outer valve regulates flow of liquid between the chamber and the dispensing opening. The pump has a closed position where liquid is drawn from the container to the chamber by negative pressure in the chamber. To dispense, a volume of liquid is drawn from the chamber to the dispensing opening. The inner valve is a one-way valve openable to flow liquid in the dispensing direction when inner valve opening pressure acts in the dispensing direction, and closes for pressure acting in the opposite direction. The outer two-way valve opens to flow liquid in the dispensing or opposite direction.

A disposable dispensing system includes a collapsible container for liquid material sealingly connected to a pump. The pump includes a housing forming a chamber and a dispensing opening, wherein the pressure in the chamber may be varied for pumping liquid from the container to the chamber, and from the chamber to the dispensing opening. A disposable pump for a liquid dispensing system includes a compressible container and a housing forming a chamber and a dispensing opening wherein the pressure in the chamber may be varied for pumping liquid from the container to the chamber, and from the chamber to the dispensing opening. A regulator is fixedly arranged in the chamber for regulating a flow of liquid between the container and the chamber and between the chamber and the dispensing opening. The regulator includes an outer valve for regulating the flow between the chamber and the dispensing opening. The outer valve is displaceable between a symmetrical position corresponding to a closed position, where the outer valve is in sealing contact with the housing, and a tilted position corresponding to a dispensing position.
