A scanning device for the point-by-point photoelectric scanning of a photographic film includes a transport arrangement for the transporting of the film along a transport path through a scanning zone, a guide arrangement for the guiding and positioning of the film in the scanning zone, an illuminating arrangement for exposing the film in the scanning zone with measuring light, a photoelectric converter arrangement for converting the measuring light transmitted through the film into corresponding electrical signals, and optical means for guiding the measuring light transmitted through the scanned film onto the photoelectric converter arrangement. The guide arrangement includes a motor-driven, selectively adjustable, moveable platform, positioned in the scanning zone, for the mechanical guiding and positioning of films of at least two different formats. The automatic adjustment of the moveable platform is effected by a sensor for detecting the format of the film to be scanned as well as a control cooperating with the sensor. The scanning device includes a first entry for the in line supply of films to be scanned from an upstream film processor as well as a second entry for the manual feeding of films. A severing arrangement is provided upstream of the first entry which for severing the leader card connected with the film to be scanned. After removal of the leader card, the film is guided into the first entry. The scanning device permits the processing of films of different formats and is well-suited for use in a digital photographic copier.

Photoelectric scanning device and copier equipped therewith

The invention relates to an arrangement for the processing of light or photo sensitive material with a printing device. Material separated into individual sections is transportable in a preferred direction of a transporting device. In a material processing device with a moving device, the individual material provided with an image is transported in a predominant direction, the preferred direction and the predominant direction differing from one another at an angle. A device at the end section of the printing device forwards the individual material to the material processing device. In accordance with the invention the forwarding device is positioned in such a way that the individual light or photo sensitive is transferable under the transporting device to the material processing device.

The invention relates to a test material storage and feed device with a light-proof container, into which either chemical film test strips, or pre-exposed photographic paper sections can be inserted. The container has a delivery mouth for taking the test strips or paper sections out of the container. A connecting device can be provided on the delivery mouth of the container which can be placed against a corresponding feed opening of a printer or a film processor, or can be inserted at least partially into the feed opening.

Test material storage and feed device

A device for copying photographic masters onto photographic copy material, the device including a masters stage on which the master is conveyed to a measuring station where it is impacted with light and measured. Subsequently, copying light quantities required for exposure are determined from this measurement. After the measuring station, in the direction of conveyance, there is an exposure station, where the master is impacted with the determined copying light quantities and copied onto copy material. The device further includes a transmission measuring system and a reflection measuring system for measuring test masters or test copies. The transmission measuring system and the reflection measuring system are integrated, structurally speaking, in an area of the masters stage on which the master is conveyed, measured and copied onto the copy material.

Device for copying photographic masters

An integrated photographic processing system is equipped with a series of processing stations that are all arranged inside a shared housing. These include an input station for undeveloped, exposed roll film, e.g., miniature film coiled in film magazines. In this input station the inserted roll films are uncoiled and fed into a film conveyance system of an adjacent film processor. In the film processor, the photographic films are developed. At the output of the film processor, a projection printer is arranged for image-by-image exposure onto photographic paper of negatives contained on the developed film. The projection printer is equipped with its own conveyance system for the developed film. Finally, there are also a paper processor for developing the exposed photographic paper, and output stations for the developed film and the developed paper images. Between the output of the film processor and the projection printer, an intermediate storage is arranged for developed individual films; this storage is equipped with an automatic conveyance device for transferring the developed individual films to a film stage of the projection printer, and this conveyance device can be operated independently of the conveyance systems of the film processor and the projection printer. In an operating procedure according to the invention, the developed films are completely removed from the film conveyance system of the film processor before further processing and are deposited in the intermediate storage. From there, they are then advanced by the automatic conveyance device of the intermediate storage to the projection printer.

Integrated photographic processing system and procedure for operating

A photographic printing machine for copying originals on sheet-like copy material having a storage reservoir for the copy material, and a feed mechanism which transports the copy material from the storage reservoir to an imaging unit in which the originals are copied onto the sheet-like copy material. The storage reservoir has numerous cassettes, the cassette openings of which are positioned side by side along a direction perpendicular to the transport direction of the copy material. The feed mechanism has a carriage that can move along the direction perpendicular to the transport direction of the copy material, for transporting the copy material from the respective cassette opening to the imaging unit.

Photographic printing machine for copying originals on sheet-like copy

In a photographic copy and enlarging apparatus, a film stage is located on a work table. A transportation means for the film comprises a film transport roller placed on the film stage. As viewed in the direction of the film transport, a front and a rear clamping device are provided for the film. The clamping devices are laid out so that they lead to the formation of a loop by the film being held, whereby the length of the film hanging laterally from the work table is shortened by at least one half and does not contact the floor. The clamping devices permit the film transport means to clamp the front end of the film in the rear clamping device and to draw the rear end of the film from the front clamping device.

Photographic copying and enlarging apparatus

The apparatus comprises a film processor (FP), a printer (P), a paper processor (PP) and a film and paper dryer (D). The two processors are located in parallel, adjacent to each other, with the printer located transversely in front of them. The dryer is located on a side of the processors which is opposite the printer. A special sheet turner (ST) is provided to convey exposed sheets of copy material from the printer (P) to the paper processor (PP). The sheet turner also serves as a decoupling element and a storage buffer, and transfers the sheets to the paper processor with the correct orientation. By means of the specific layout of the individual components and the sheet turner, optimal compactness and functionality, as well as correct ergonomics is obtained.
