Present invention relates to an allergy-inhibiting sea grape extract, its preparation method and thereof. The preparation method includes following steps: the sea grape is blended in distilled water in the weight ratio of 1:1&#x2dc;20, mix thoroughly, stir at 20&#x2dc;100&#xb0; C. for 30&#x2dc;120 minutes. The fluid obtained after the first filtration is the sea grape extract. The sea grape extract can be subjected to the second filtration by using EW, PW and DK membranes and freeze-dried to give a refined sea grape extract. The invention exhibits superior allergy-inhibiting effect; moreover, the prepared extract does not cause allergy and can be used in cosmetics and food.

A method of making a porous biodegradable polymer is disclosed, which comprises (a) placing a biodegradable polymer and a solvent in a chamber; (b) adding a supercritical fluid to the chamber and maintaining the chamber at a predetermined temperature for a sufficient period of time to allow the supercritical fluid to dissolve into the biodegradable polymer with the help of the solvent; and (c) venting the supercritical fluid and the solvent by reducing the pressure in the chamber, thereby obtaining a porous biodegradable polymer.

Method of making porous biodegradable polymers

The present invention relates to crosslinking of porous materials made of biodegradable polymers. The method comprises: (a) placing a porous biodegradable polymer in a chamber; (b) introducing a supercritical fluid containing a crosslinking agent into the chamber to effect crosslinking of the porous biodegradable polymer; and optionally (c) introducing a pure supercritical into the chamber to wash the crosslinked polymer until the crosslinking agent is substantially removed from the polymer.

Method for crosslinking porous biodegradable polymers

The present invention discloses a method for preparing a hydrophilic porous polymeric material comprising the step of mixing a hydrophilic polymeric material with a hydrophobic material; solvent sintering the surface of the hydrophilic polymeric material with water or an aqueous solution; and removing the hydrophobic material contained within the hydrophilic polymeric material with a massive organic solvent. Thus, the hydrophilic porous polymeric material with high porosity and stable structure is rapidly mass produced.
