The present invention relates to an energy storage module for an apparatus for supplying voltage, in particular of a motor vehicle, in which the energy storage module has a plurality of prismatic storage cells which, in a manner stacked to form at least one row, are arranged one behind the other and are braced between two end plates by means of at least one tie rod. The tie rod may be in the form of a thermally conductive metal sheet for dissipating the heat from the storage cells to a cooling device.

The electrochemical storage cells and/or double-layer capacitors have a casing surface and, in an axial direction, a base surface and a cover surface which are connected by the casing surface, and each include electrodes. Adjacent to the casing surface of at least one of the storage cells and/or double-layer capacitors, a heat-conducting cooling apparatus is disposed which, although electrically insulated from the at least one storage cell and/or double-layer capacitor, is in thermal contact with a first circumferential section of the casing surface and dissipates the heat energy introduced by the casing surfaces of the at least one storage cell and/or the double-layer capacitor.

Heat-dissipating device for supplying power to a hybrid or electric motor vehicle

A high-current (HC) plug-in connector for currents exceeding 100 A, in particular 200 A, is provided. The high-current (HC) plug-in connector may include a first connecting element having a first contact section, and a second connecting element having a second contact section. Furthermore, a spring element is provided for establishing an electrical connection between the first and the second connecting element. The spring element may include at least two clamping elements which are interconnected via at least one web, the web and respective first sections of the clamping elements being arranged on a first outer surface of the connection formed by the first and the second contact section, and second sections of the clamping elements being arranged at least in part on a second outer surface opposite the first outer surface. At least one contact spring is arranged on the at least one web, the at least one contact spring generating, on the first outer surface, a contact force oriented in the direction of the second outer surface, whereby mutually facing contact surfaces of the first and the second contact section are pressed against each other, the second sections of the clamping elements serving as abutments.

High-current plug-in connector for automotive vehicle applications

A cell connector for the electrically conductive connection of a first cell terminal of a first electrochemical cell and a second cell terminal of a second electrochemical cell of an electrochemical device is provided, the cell connector including a first contact region for connection to the first cell terminal and a second contact region for connection to the second cell terminal, where the cell connector allows a large relative displacement between the first contact region and the second contact region even under the influence of only small deformation forces. The cell connector can include a base body made of two or more material layers, at least two material layers being connected to one another in one piece along a fold line.

In order to enable the temperature in the region of at least one of the cell terminals that are connected to one another in an electrically conductive manner by a cell connector to be determined in a simple and reliable manner, there is proposed a cell connector for connecting a first cell terminal of a first electro-chemical cell and a second cell terminal of a second electro-chemical cell of an electro-chemical device in an electrically conductive manner which comprises a base body and a temperature sensing element that is fixed to the base body.

A power supply device for a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger vehicle, truck or motorcycle, comprises one or more storage cell modules, each of which includes one or more electrochemical storage cells and/or double layer capacitors that are arranged next to and/or on top of one another. The device includes a cooler block having a holder for the storage cell modules and a heat dissipating structure for dissipating heat emitted by the storage cell modules. The heat dissipating structure is provided on at least one side of the holder. The cooler block includes a clamping device operatively configured to generate a predefined force by which the heat dissipating structure can be pressed against a respective storage cell module.

Power supply device for a motor vehicle

An apparatus for supplying power to a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger vehicle or motorcycle, has a plurality of electrochemical storage cells. At least one of the electrodes respectively situated in the storage cells is made of metal or is provided with a metal layer essentially over its entire surface. The metal electrode or the metal layer, in particular a metal foil, is connected in an electrically conductive manner via a connecting element to a terminal provided outside the storage cell. To provide a reliable apparatus for supplying power, in particular for the intermittent electric motor drive of a motor vehicle, a thermally conductive cooling plate, which is in thermal contact with essentially each of the terminals of the storage cells, is provided. The cooling plate dissipates the thermal energy which is supplied by the metal electrodes or the metal layers on the electrodes to the terminal via the connecting element.
