Presented is a motor vehicle light with a light source, a light conductor, which comprises a bordering decoupling volume opposite of a first side and a second side lying opposite the second side, wherein the second side comprises decoupling elements, which decouple light distributed about a principal propagation direction, and wherein the motor vehicle light comprises a colored shield which is positioned behind the second side in a direction opposite to the principal propagation direction. A light module of a lighting equipment of a motor vehicle that includes several separately controllable light sources combined in an array, several primary optics elements in the form of collective lenses, each of which has a light ingress surface and a light emitting surface, that are combined to a primary optics array, wherein the primary optics elements concentrate at least a portion of the light emitted by the light sources and generate intermediate light distributions on the light emitting surfaces, and a secondary optics system for reproducing the emitted light on a road in front of a motor vehicle as resulting total light distribution of the light module. The secondary optics system for reproducing the intermediate light distributions as resulting total light distribution of the light module is focused on at least one of the light-emitting surfaces of the collective lenses.

The invention concerns a light module with a light source, a primary optical system and a reflector. The primary optical system contains a lens element that is embodied as a sector of an imaginary rotation body formed by the rotation of an imaginary rotation base surface around a rotation axis, wherein the rotation base surface is designed such that the lens element contains a light entry surface that faces the rotation axis and that surrounds the rotation axis and a light emitting surface that is located radially exterior to the rotation axis, wherein the reflector has at least one reflector zone that is embodied as a segment of the surface of a rotation symmetric imaginary associated circular cone, and wherein the axis of symmetry of the circular cone extends parallel to the rotation axis of the lens element.

Light module

The invention relates to an illumination device for an automobile with at least one light source () to emit light and at least one cup (or bowl)-shaped reflector () to reflect at least a portion of the light emitted by the light source (). The reflector () is formed as a light-conductor structure () with a totally-reflecting reflection surface (). The light-conductor structure () includes at least one light-coupling surface () and at least one light-decoupling surface (). The reflection surface () is formed as a border surface of the light-conductor structure (). It is proposed that either the light-coupling surface () and/or the light-decoupling surface () and/or the reflection surface () of the reflector () include means to deflect the light beams passing through them or reflected by them. Thus, the reflector () can form light radiated from the light source () in conjunction with light-coupling surfaces (), reflection surfaces (), and light-decoupling surfaces () to realize a desired light distribution.

Illumination device

An illumination device () for a motor vehicle includes a transparent light guide (). At least a first decoupling element () is formed into the light guide (). At least one reflector () is assigned to the first decoupling element () for reflection of light coupled-out by the first decoupling element () and aligned and formed in such a way that at least a portion of the light reflected by the reflector () irradiates the light guide (). At least one second decoupling element () is formed in the light guide () for coupling-out of light from the light guide () and aligned and formed in such a way that light coupled-out by the second decoupling element () ultimately exits the light guide ().

Illumination device for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a light-conductor structure () for an automobile lighting device (), with a coupling section () to couple light into the light-conductor structure, a curved reflecting surface () to reflect light beams () of the light coupled into the light-conductor structure via the coupling section, and at least one decoupling section () to decouple the light from the light-conductor structure (). In order to achieve a light-conductor structure () in which fewer limitations to the determination of its geometric shape exist, or whose appearance may be more freely configured, it is proposed that the reflecting surface () of the light-conductor structure () is curved such that light reflected from the reflecting surface () strikes directly with no additional reflection either again onto the reflecting surface () or passes into the minimum of one decoupling section ().

A vehicle tail light has a housing having a light source chamber and a light window delimiting one side of the light source chamber. A first light source provides a first signaling function and a second light source provides a second signaling function. The first and second light sources are mounted in the light source chamber remote from the light window. A first reflector, having a first horizontal reflection angle, and a second reflector, having a second horizontal reflection angle, are mounted in the housing opposite the light window. The first light source emits light being reflected at the first reflector onto the light window and passing through the light window to the exterior of the tail light. The second light source emits light being reflected at the second reflector onto the light window and passing through the light window to the exterior of the tail light. The second reflection angle is different from the first reflection angle.

Lighting optics is provided for lights of vehicles, preferably motor vehicles. The lighting optics has a light-refracting lens element that is disposed in the path of rays of at least one light. The lens element has at least one aperture through which a portion of the rays of the light passes without undergoing refraction.

An external rearview mirror for a vehicle includes a base for attachment to a vehicle, a mirror head connected to the base, and a holder for a mirror glass. A blinker light on the mirror head provides light which is radiated rearwardly, as viewed in the direction of forward travel of the vehicle. The rearward light is radiated at an angle of at least 55 degrees relative to a straight line that is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and that substantially extends beyond the contour of the mirror head.

A vehicle taillight has a housing and a light-transmissive cover for closing off the housing. At least one light source is located within the housing for emitting light through the light-transmissive cover. At least one light-guiding member is positioned within the housing between the light source and the light-transmissive cover. The light-guiding member consists of light guide material and reflects light emitted by the light source onto the light-transmissive cover.

The optical receiving body for at least one LED has an optical member with a receiving chamber for receiving the at least one LED. The LED emits light in a main direction of light emission. The receiving chamber has an inner wall with a parabolic wall section. The parabolic wall section is a first reflective surface for light beams emitted by the at least one LED. The exterior surface of the optical member is provided with at least one second reflective surface.

A light assembly for a motor vehicle has a housing and a transparent plate closing off the housing. At least one light-emitting device is positioned in the housing for illuminating the transparent plate. At least one main reflector is positioned in the housing for reflecting light emitted by the light-emitting device to the transparent plate. A prism is positioned in the housing so as to be placed at least partially in the path of the light emitted by the light-emitting device, whereby the prism reflects the light impinging thereon to the main reflector so as to be reflected onto the transparent plate.
