The invention is based on a wiper blade adapter device with an adapter basic body () which is provided to be fixedly connected to a wiper blade component (), and with an adapter unit () which is provided for releasable coupling to a wiper arm adapter (), and wherein the adapter unit () is provided to be connected to the adapter basic body () via a latching connection. It is proposed that the adapter unit () comprises at least one latching means () for latching to the adapter basic body (), said latching means being provided to be at least partially deflected in the direction of a longitudinal centre plane () of the adapter unit () during assembly with the adapter basic body ().

The invention relates to an end cap arrangement, more particularly for a wiper blade (), comprising an end cap main part () that can be fixedly connected to a main component () of a wiper blade (). It is proposed that the end cap arrangement comprise at least an end cap spoiler element () which is designed so that in an installed condition an installation opening () is left free for a wiper rubber ().

End cap arrangement

The invention relates to a wiper blade adapter unit with a wiper blade adapter (), which is provided for a connection to a wiper arm adapter and has at least one receiving area () having at least one contact surface () provided for fastening at least one carrier element () of a wiper blade. The invention states that the at least one contact surface () has a maximum length of 20 mm.

Wiper blade adapter unit

A wiper blade adapter device with at least one basic adapter (), which is provided for coupling to a spring rail (), and with a special adapter (), which is provided for coupling to a wiper arm adapter and, in a fitted state, is connected immovably to the basic adapter (). The wiper blade adapter device comprises a latching unit () which is provided for producing a latching connection between the basic adapter () and the special adapter ().

The invention is based on a wiper blade () with a supporting element () which has two interconnected spring rails (), and with a wiper strip () which is received by the spring rails () in a manner allowing it to be exchanged. It is proposed that one end of the wiper strip () is connected fixedly to a thickened portion () by means of which the wiper strip () can be fixed relative to the supporting element ().

Wiper blade with a supporting element

The invention relates to a device () for connecting a wiper blade () to a wiper arm () of a windshield wiper in an articulated manner, which comprises a joining element (), which is joined in a fixed manner to the wiper arm (), and a connecting element (), which is joined in a fixed manner to a supporting element () of the wiper blade () and on which a plastic adapter () is pivotally mounted. The adapter () is fixed in the profile of the joining element (), said profile being open toward the connecting element (), by means of fastening means (). The invention provides that a filler piece () is placed in the joining element () on the side facing the wiper arm () following the adapter (). Said filler piece rests tightly against the inside walls of the joining element () and against the adjacent face of the adapter ().

Device for connecting a wiper blade to a wiper arm of a windshield wiper in an articulated manner

The invention is based on a wiper blade () having a wiper strip () and a support element () at whose ends endcaps () are guided, said endcaps () at their end sides () facing the ends of the wiper blade () extending as far as a wiper lip () via the support element (), wherein at least one endcap () has a lid () which is connected to the endcap () so as to be capable of pivoting about an articulation axis () transversely with respect to the wiper blade () and has a gudgeon () on its side facing the head strip (), which gudgeon () penetrates the head strip () when the lid () is closed. It is proposed that the tip of the gudgeon () be secured by parts of the endcap () or of the lid () against contact both in the opened state of the lid () and in the closed state.

Wiper blade

The invention relates to a windscreen wiper arm () comprising a wiper bar (), to which a wiper blade () can be attached with or without a spoiler. Said bar is composed of a freely projecting, first arc-shaped wiper bar section () with a first curvature variation, to which the wiper blade () is attached and of at least one second arc-shaped wiper bar section () with a second arc-shaped curvature variation, which adjoins the first wiper bar section (), to form a snap-off point ().

Windscreen wiper arm

A wiper lever () with a wiper arm () and a wiper blade () linked to it to clean windows of motor vehicles in particular is proposed, whose wiper blade is provided with a band-like, long-stretched-out, elastic supporting element () that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces (), which features a rubber elastic wiper strip () that can be applied to the window on its concave-curved band surface (), on whose convex-curved band surface () an articulated part () sits, on which an adapter () is positioned so that it can move in a pendulum fashion, which has walls () aligned in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade and standing on the band surfaces of the supporting element () with planes situated at a distance from one another, and locking means () are arranged on the adapter that are moveable against a restoring force, which cooperate with counter-locking means () of the wiper arm. A particularly operationally reliable connection between the wiper arm and the wiper blade to form the wiper lever is achieved if the locking means are arranged on at least one of the two walls () and are moveable essentially transverse to the surfaces of these walls.

A non-articulated wiper blade (), which is constructed of a wiper strip () having a wiper lip (), two spring rails () and a connecting device (), wherein the spring rails () engage in lateral longitudinal grooves of the wiper strip () that are open towards the outside and are clasped by claw feet () of a sheet metal claw () of the connecting device () from an outer narrow side. The claw feet () are bent around the narrow sides of the spring rails () during the assembly of the sheet metal claws (), wherein at least one layer () and/or an intermediate layer () of plastic are provided between the claw feet () on the one hand and the spring rails () on the other hand, which layers are manufactured separately from the wiper strip () and are adapted to the claw feet () as well as have a high coefficient of friction on their surface towards the sheet metal claw () and towards the spring rails ().

Wiper lever () with a driven wiper arm () and a wiper blade () linked to it for cleaning the windows of motor vehicles in particular, which is provided with a band-like, long-stretched-out, elastic supporting element () that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces (), which features a rubber elastic wiper strip () that can be applied to the window on its concave curved band surface (), on whose convex curved band surface () a coupling element () sits to connect the wiper blade to a coupling piece () of the wiper arm and the articulated connection is covered by a cap () that is held on the wiper blade. A well-designed, pleasing transition between the wiper arm and the wiper blade of the wiper lever along with good protection of the articulated connection that exists between these two components of the wiper lever are achieved without impairing the handling of the securing means in that this articulated connection has at its disposal means to secure the connection between the wiper arm () and the wiper blade () that can be actuated with at least one handle () and that the cap () accommodates the handle ().

A device is proposed which is used to detachably connect a wiper blade () to clean windows, particularly of motor vehicles, to a driven wiper arm () featuring a wiper blade holder (or), whereby the wiper blade () that can be placed on the window () with a long-stretched-out, rubber elastic wiper strip () features a band-like, long-stretched-out elastic supporting element () that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces () on whose lower, concave band surface () the wiper strip () is arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis. On the outer convex band surface () of the supporting element () sits a connecting element (), which features two parallel wall surfaces () mat are aligned in a vertical plane on the band surface and extend in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade and that a pivot pin () projects from each wall surface, whereby the longitudinal axes of the two pivot pins are aligned with one another. An especially simple embodiment of the articulated connection with an integrated connecting device is achieved if an adapter (or) that can move in a pendulum fashion is positioned on the two pivot pins of the connecting element (), and said adapter features means to connect to the wiper blade holder (or) of the wiper arm ().

A wiper blade () comprising a rubber elastic wiper strip () into whose lateral longitudinal grooves resilient rails () are inserted as support elements and laterally protrude from the longitudinal grooves, wherein the resilient rails () are held together at their ends and are fixed relative to the wiper strip () in the longitudinal direction and support a terminal cap (). It is proposed that the terminal caps () have detachable fixing means () that engage in a top strip () of the wiper strip (), wherein the axial movability of the resilient rails () relative to the wiper strip () is limited by the terminal caps.
