The present invention relates to compounds of the formula (I), to mixtures of the said compounds with emitter compounds, to the use of compounds of the formula (I) and the said mixtures in electronic devices, and to electronic devices containing one or more compounds of the formula (I) and/or mixtures of compounds of the formula (I) with emitter compounds.

Materials for electronic devices

The invention relates to a process for producing compounds containing at least one arylamino group by means of a coupling reaction of an amino compound with an aryl compound, using a strong base.

Process for producing arylamines

The present invention relates to a process for preparing polymers by polycondensation catalyzed by transition metals. These polymers are of great importance in, in particular, the fast-growing field of organic semiconductors. The polymers obtained by the process of the invention can be prepared with greater reproducibility and in higher purity than polymers obtained according to the prior art.

Method for the production of polymers

The present invention relates to compounds having a spirobifluorene skeleton of the formula (I) for use as functional materials in electronic devices, in particular for use in the charge-transport layer and/or emission layer of organic electroluminescent devices. The invention furthermore relates to a process for the preparation of the compounds according to the invention and to mixtures comprising the compounds according to the invention. The invention furthermore relates to the use of the compounds of the formula (I) in electronic devices and to electronic devices comprising the compounds of the formula (I).

The present invention relates to electronic devices comprising organic semiconductors whose content of halogens is less than 20 ppm. This increases the lifetime and the efficiency of the corresponding electronic devices, and these materials are thus better suited to use in organic electronic devices than materials with a higher halogen content. The present invention further relates to corresponding organic semiconductors and to a process for their production.

Electronic devices containing organic semi-conductors

The invention relates to an electro-optical liquid-crystal display which contains, as dielectric, a liquid-crystalline medium having negative dielectric anisotropy and includes a backlight which essentially only emits light having a wavelength of 400 nm or more or has, between the liquid-crystal layer and the backlight, a cut-off filter which essentially only allows light having a wavelength of 420 nm or more to pass through. In particular, the liquid-crystalline medium comprises in which the parameters have the meanings indicated in claim, and a further (second) dielectrically negative component (component B). Very particular preference is given to the use of the liquid-crystalline media in an electro-optical display, particularly in an active-matrix display based on the VA, ECB, PSVA, FFS or IPS effect and very particularly in displays which use an LED backlight.

The present invention relates to liquid compositions, in particular solutions, of at least one organic semiconductor which emits light from the triplet state, in an organic solvent or solvent mixture, which are characterised in that the content of certain compounds is below a certain limit value, and to the use thereof for the production of layers of the organic semiconductors on substrates, in particular for the electronics industry.

The present invention describes novel organometallic compounds which are phosphorescent emitters.
