In an electric switch a good gliding behavior between a bridging contact and metal conductors punched out from a sheet metal blank is achieved. For this purpose the metal conductors have at least one projection extending at least over the entire range of motion of the bridging contact.

An electric switch having a housing including a base plate, the switch comprising a push-button which is preferably movable in a linear direction with respect to the housing, a switching tappet movable by the push-button and swivellable relative to the switching tappet and a switching rocker rotatably mounted on the base plate, the rocker being swivellable to and fro in turns between two end positions via the push-button and the switching tappet and controlling a movable bridging contact, especially a snap-action spring.

Push-button rocker electric switch

A switch, especially for motor vehicles, includes a housing which is insertable into an opening of a mounting plate. The housing is limited by a front plate, several side walls and a base plate. Locking springs project from two side walls. Each locking spring carries a stud. When the switch is mounted the studs snap into position behind the mounting plate. Release shanks projecting into the housing interior originate from the locking spring, which release shanks end in the area of apertures in the front plate. Thus the mounting plate need not have openings through which the locking springs are accessible for removal of the switch. Thus the switch can be surrounded by the mounting plate over the entire perimeter of its front plate.

Switch, especially for motor vehicles

A push-button switch for motor vehicles having a snap-action switch system in which a snap spring integrally formed with a movable contact reed is clamped in a switching rocker. The switching rocker may be changed over between two end positions by way of a switching tappet of a push-button. Equal switching forces may be measured in both switching directions.

Electric switch for motor vehicles

A fastening device which permits snap-in assembly of a switch to a panel or receiving member includes a resilient latching member connected to the switch housing and adapted to engage a shoulder of the receiving member. A second resilient member serves to urge the resilient latching member into contact with the shoulder. In one embodiment of the invention, the switch housing is inserted into a receiving portion of a control panel and a connector carries at least one resilient latching member adapted to engage a shoulder on the receiving portion. In this embodiment, the connector and panel cooperate to retain the switch.
