A sensor housing for mounting in a vehicle wheel, preferably a motor vehicle wheel and preferably on an inside of a tire of the wheel, is provided. The sensor housing includes a base surface for securing the sensor housing in the inner chamber of a wheel, a receiving area having a recess for receiving a sensor, and a predetermined breaking point for breaking open the receiving area and thus for releasing the sensor from the receiving area, preferably in a manner that prevents reuse of the sensor housing. A sensor arrangement including the sensor housing and a sensor received therein is also provided.

Sensor housing for mounting in a vehicle wheel

A method is provided for storing tire information in a tire sensor. For this purpose, a tire sensor is fastened to a tire having a passive RFID transponder. The RFID transponder is then supplied with energy via an energy field, with the result that the RFID transponder emits the stored tire information. If the tire sensor has determined that the tire sensor is fastened to the tire, the tire information is received and is permanently stored in the tire sensor. The tire information written to a tire sensor is preferably transmitted to the vehicle by the tire sensor and is then taken into account during a movement-dynamic function, for example.

Storing of tire information in a tire sensor

A warning strategy determines in a mutually separate manner the different effects that may occur in a tire and allows the increments and their priority in the display or indication for the driver to be evaluated in a mutually separate manner. This strategy occurs in connection with a sensor which can transmit at least the outside temperature and, preferably, also the barometric pressure to an evaluation device for detecting tire inflation pressure and tire temperature. As a result, in addition to an air loss monitoring function, the load capacity of the tire can also be evaluated at least as a function of the outside temperature. The evaluation device receives further input signals, such as the vehicle velocity, the tire contact area and/or the vehicle load, whereby also a dynamic tire stress can be taken into account as an indication or display for the driver.

Tire inflation pressure control system and method in motor vehicles

A method for controlling a drive system and/or a wheel braking system, a total braking torque consisting of a drive braking torque and/or a wheel braking torque to be applied to the wheels of a motor vehicle is adjusted such that the desired wheel braking torque is reduced by an amount which can be compensated by a (preferably maximally) possible increase of the drive braking torque, when the wheel braking system is particularly loaded and when the vehicle velocity is approximately constant (steady-state) operating mode. However, the increase of the drive braking torque is limited to a predefined amount (preferably achievable in the fired coasting operation) when the wheel braking system is loaded less highly or the vehicle velocity changes (dynamic operating mode).

Method for controlling a drive system and/or a wheel brake system

A method for controlling a drive system in a motor vehicle having at least one electronic control device, which detects the accelerator pedal position as an input signal and therefrom, corresponding to a basic characteristic curve, determines a wheel torque desired by the driver, the control device receives information concerning the presence of wheel slip as another input signal and, when wheel slip is present, stores a limit torque. For an accelerator pedal position which is greater than the accelerator pedal position at which the wheel slip has occurred, the basic characteristic curve is changed in that the desired wheel torque is limited to the limit torque.

Anti-slip control method for a drive system in a motor vehicle

A method for regulating and/or controlling an engine-transmission unit in a motor vehicle includes prioritizing torque demands to obtain an only torque value, storing the only torque value as a current successful situation and retaining the torque value for the previous successful situation, and processing the torque value of the current successful situation as well as the torque value of the previous successful situation to comparable torque values in each case required for the implementation of the demands. The method farther includes changing a desired torque demand at driving wheels of the motor vehicle from the torque value of the previous successful situation to the torque value of the current successful situation in the event of a priority change when the current successful situation is different from the previous successful situation, sending the desired torque demand to an electronic controller, and carrying out the desired torque demand by controlling at least one of engine parameters and a ratio of a transmission unit.
