Seat armrest

The invention relates to a console for a vehicle passenger compartment. The console comprises for example an armrest and a fixed storage compartment that is under the armrest. The object of the invention is to provide a console comprising a storage compartment that offers a high degree of flexibility with respect to the possible uses in the vehicle and with respect to the space requirement. The particularity is that the console of a vehicle has a frame and a container, wherein the container is mounted so as to be movable relative to the frame, and wherein the container can be completely separated from the frame.

The invention relates to a passenger compartment () of a vehicle () comprising at least one seat () and comprising a console () that can be placed laterally adjacent the seat. The particularity is that at least one seat () is designed to be adjustable such that it can be moved out of a first position in which it faces in the travel direction, and into a second position, and that at least part of the console () is mounted so as to be movable out of a primary position in which it is laterally adjacent the seat, into a secondary position in which it is outside the movement path of the seat during movement of the seat between the first position and the second position.

The invention relates to a headrest, in particular for a vehicle seat, with a head contact part (), with a support () for mounting the headrest () on a fixed structure, with at least one parallelogrammatic linkage () between the head contact part () and the support () that carries the head contact part () for movement relative to the support () between a first position and a second position, wherein the parallelogrammatic linkage () comprises at least two links (), and each link () forms at least one pivot joint (GA, GA, GC, GC) with the support () and at least one pivot joint (GB, GB, GD, GD) with the head contact part (), with a latch (), with a first latch formation on the support () and a second latch formation on the head contact part (), wherein the first latch formation and the second latch formation are in engagement in a locked position and are disengaged in a release position. Headrest

The invention relates to an arm rest, in particular for a vehicle seat, comprising a support arm (), which can be pivoted about a pivot axis (a) between at least one use position and at least one non-use position, and which by means of a locking device () that can be moved between a locking position and a release position can be locked in at least one position. First retaining means () are assigned to the support arm (), which can releasably be brought into engagement with second retaining means () that are connected to the vehicle structure, in order to lock the movement of the support arm () in at least one direction (u) and in at least one locking position. The invention is characterized in that the locking device () comprises at least one lever () that interacts with the support arm (), which relative to the support arm () is movably mounted, wherein the lever () is provided with the first retaining means.

Armrest

The armrest comprises an arm support that is vertically adjustable by an adjuster that is held on the vehicle frame. The adjustment takes place here independently of a storage compartment. In this way, the vertical position of the armrest can be adapted to the size of the occupants of the seat. The adjuster can be operated with a manual drive or electrically as an alternative, for example. The adjuster has a guide fixed to the vehicle frame and a slide that carries the arm support and that is vertically shiftable on the guide.

A cover assembly has a support defining a pivot axis, a cover pivotal relative to the support about the pivot axis between an open position and a closed position, and a torque spring having first and second ends, a biasing coil part from which the first end extends, and a gripping coil part extending from the biasing coil part and from which the second end extends. The first end is seated in the cover, and the gripping coil part, except when is installed or adjusted, frictionally tightly and elastically engages the support and nonrotatably secures the second end to the support against rotation relative to the pivot axis. The gripping coil part is elastically deformable during installation or adjustment to disengage from the support and allow angular or axial movement of the gripping coil part and repositioning on the support.

The invention relates to a motor-vehicle accessory, comprising a first part and at least one second part pivotal about an axis (a) relative to the first part in at least one bearing assembly (), and the bearing assembly () comprises a bearing pin () on which a bearing sleeve () is coaxial to the bearing axis (a), and the bearing pin () forms a head () with an axial retaining face (). Motor vehicle accessory such as an armrest

A motor-vehicle headrest has a base fixable to a motor vehicle seat and a cushion support having a forwardly directed front face adapted to engage a head of a person in the seat. An upper link has a front end pivoted at an upper support axis on the support and a rear end pivoted at an upper base axis on the base, and a lower link having a front end pivoted at a lower support axis on the support offset downward from the upper support axis and a rear end pivoted at a lower base axis on the base offset downward from the upper base axis. The cushion is shiftable relative to the base between a rear position and a front position on pivoting of the links about the respective axes. A rigid brace is pivoted on the upper link between the upper axes and on the lower link between the lower axes.

A motor-vehicle headrest has an upright rod having upper and lower ends, a cushion support pivotal on the upper rod end about a generally horizontal axis between a use position and an stowage position, and a stop fixed on the rod upper end. A latch element is pivotal in the support between a retaining position engaging the stop and preventing pivoting of the support and a freeing position clear of the stop and permitting pivoting of the support.

The invention relates to a headrest () for a vehicle seat, comprising a central part () containing a cushion support and a cushion that is held on top of a seat back by means of at least one support rod, the front region of said headrest having a head support region (). The cushion support is optionally pivotally mounted about a horizontal pivoting axis (x).
