A hitch device for an implement is capable of being mounted on an agricultural vehicle, including: a first chassis extending in a vertical plane, the normal to which is substantially the direction of travel of the hitch; a second chassis also extending in the vertical plane and mounted with capacity for translational movement on the first chassis in the transverse direction with respect to the direction of travel of the hitch; an actuator causing the translational movement of the second chassis with respect to the first chassis; an attachment device for fixing the first chassis to the rear of the agricultural vehicle; and a system for attaching an agricultural implement, the system allowing the implement to pivot about the vertical.

A device for hitching and lifting an agricultural tool, including a frame fastened to the agricultural machine, a first arm articulated on the frame with a first tool hitch at one end, at least one first jack connected at one end to the frame and at the other to the arm, an extent of the travel of the jack allowing the end of the arm for bearing the hitch to successively pass through a first minimum low position, a second maximum high position, and a third retracted position, where a detection unit that detects a position of the end of the arm can deactivate the supply of the jack when the end reaches the second position, and a bypass controller can bypass the controller of the detection unit to reactivate the supply of the jack.

Front lifting device for an agricultural machine and associated control method

A shifting module for releasable securement on the lower two arms of a conventional three-point hitch of a tractor and for laterally shifting a pull-type implement mounted on the shifting module. The shifting module includes a lateral support having a pin on either end section for grasping and securement by the lower two arms of the three-point hitch. A traveler is mounted on the lateral support and a linear actuator operates to shift the traveler along the lateral support to any desired position along the lateral support. A hitch on the traveler is used for mounting of the pull-type implement so that the implement can be reliably and accurately positioned along a desired path.

A front lifting device for a tractor, for hitching a tool thereto and controlling the same, includes: a chassis to be attached to the bodywork of the tractor; two lower arms hinged to the chassis and including, at the end thereof furthest from the chassis, a hitching element for the tool; at least one working jack in which one of the elements, a cylinder or rod, is connected to the chassis and in which the other element, a rod or cylinder, is connected to one of the coupling arms, the working jack providing the movements of the arm or arms in a working stroke between a bottom position and a raised position; the device includes a length-adjustable linking member between one of the elements, a cylinder or rod, of the working jack and one of the parts made up of the chassis or an arm, the linking member being held in an extended state during normal working mode, and in a retracted state to enable the arm or arms to enter a retracted position.

The PTO assembly includes an engine driven input shaft, an output shaft, a transmission, a disconnect unit for selectively coupling and uncoupling the input shaft from the transmission and a clutch for coupling an uncoupling the transmission from the output shaft. A lubrication system includes a shaft lube circuit for lubricating the input shaft, a pump, and a lube control valve for controlling communication of lubricant from the pump to the lube circuit. The lube control valve is operatively coupled to the disconnect unit so that when the disconnect unit is engaged the lube control valve blocks communication from the pump to the lube circuit, and when the disconnect unit is disengaged the lube control valve communicates the pump to the lube circuit. The lubrication system also includes a transmission lube circuit for lubrication the transmission. The control valve communicates lubricant to the transmission lube circuit when the disconnect unit is engaged and disengaged.

A mowing arrangement includes a main, mobile frame to which a base or first carrier part or frame is mounted for being pivoted vertically by a remotely operable hydraulic motor. Mounted to the base carrier frame is a second carrier part to which arms supporting opposite side and front mowing units are attached. The front-mounted mowing unit is mounted to the second carrier part through the agency of a fourth carrier part, in the form of a parallelogram linkage that includes the support arm for the front-mounted mowing unit. The second carrier part is mounted for pivoting about a transverse, horizontal axis so that the cutting angles of each of the mowing heads can be remotely adjusted by pivoting the second carrier part. A third carrier part is fixed for movement with the second carrier part and supports a drive transmission having output shafts respectively coupled for supplying power to the three mowing heads.

A mowing arrangement includes three mowing units with which are associated a drive system including transmissions associated with each unit that are alike to the extent that the mowing units may be easily exchanged with one another. Specifically, one of the mowing units has an angle drive transmission while the transmissions on the other two mowing units are belt or chain drive transmissions. All transmissions are mounted for easy replacement whereby the angle drive transmission may be replaced by a belt or chain drive transmission like the other mowing units if it is desired to use the front mowing unit as a side mowing unit. A drive system variant includes two angle gear boxes used as a power-receiving transmission, with the result that all of the mowing units can be constructed exactly the same.

The invention provides a locking pin (G) comprising a loop (B) and means (R) for pivoting the loop on the locking pin so that said loop (B) may be brought back to surround the spindle (A) in which the locking pin is engaged so as to oppose removal of said locking pin. The pivoting means (R) comprise a mobile bearing (6) supported by two substantially parallel arms (8, 9), the assembly being such that in a 'high' position the arms extend on a side which moves the bearing (6) to a maximum away from the opposite end (e) of the locking pin, whereas in a 'low' position, said arms (8, 9) have rotated with respect to the 'high' position. The locking pin may pass through the loop when the arms are in the 'low' position but cannot pass through the loop when the arms are in the 'high' position.
