A vacuum cementing system has at least one cement powder cartridge and a container-opening system. The container-opening system has at least one container for at least one liquid and/or at least one powder, an opening device, and an outlet opening for applying a negative pressure. When a negative pressure is being applied, the opening device is mobile relative to at least a part of the at least one container. The vacuum cementing system has a means for connecting the cement powder cartridge to the at least one container and utilizes necessary vacuum for automatically opening the at least one container.

Vacuum cementing system

Cartridge system for mixing and applying a mix of a medical cement. Cartridges are arranged parallel to each other and an outlet opening. The cartridges each comprise at least one opening that connect(s) the cartridges to the outlet opening, and the cartridges are bordered laterally through cartridge walls. Each cartridge comprises a feed plunger for expelling starting components of the mix from the cartridges through the openings. The feed plungers are fixedly connected to each other through at least one fin. The cartridge walls of the cartridges are connected through the fin(s). The walls comprise slits that are arranged parallel to the cartridge axis, whereby the width of the slits is well-suited for taking up the fin or fins, and the at least one fin moves through regions of the slits when the feed plungers perform a motion in the cartridges.

A compressed-gas motor has a cylindrical inner chamber closed gas-tight at a first base surface, and a piston arranged so as to be movable along the cylinder axis in the cylindrical inner chamber. A first opening feeds a compressed gas into the inner chamber, and a second opening discharges a gas from inside the inner chamber. The openings are arranged in the cylinder casing of the cylindrical inner chamber, wherein the first opening is arranged between the second opening and the closed first base surface. The first opening is closable by a first piston part and the second opening by a second piston part. The compressed-gas motor has a resetting device which exerts a force on the piston in the direction of the first base surface of the cylindrical inner chamber if the second piston part does not completely close the second opening.

A mixing device, for a mixable material, has at least one cartridge and a closure piece. The cartridge contains a first component of the mixable material and has a cartridge head in which at least one air opening is arranged, and the closure piece is arranged on the cartridge head in such a way that the at least one air opening in the cartridge head can be closed and opened by the closure piece. The closure piece is mounted so as to be rotatable or slideable relative to the cartridge head, and a connection extends through the cartridge head or a cartridge wall into the interior of the cartridge and connects the interior of the cartridge to a container for a second component of the mixable material.

Mixing device for prepack vacuum cementing system, vacuum cementing system, and method

A discharge device discharges the content of a container by applying a compressed gas. The device has a housing, at least one compressed gas container, an operating device for setting a gas flow from the compressed gas container and an opening means for opening the compressed gas container. The opening means is movable in relation to the compressed gas container, and the device has a holder for securing the container on the device. The holder is in operative connection with the opening means in such a way that securing the container on the holder brings about a movement of the opening means in relation to the compressed gas container that opens the compressed gas container.

Dispensing device for bone cement

A cartridge system for mixing and applying a mixable material has a discharge opening and at least two cartridges which have interiors delimited in some areas by a cartridge head. A device regulates streams from the cartridges, is arranged on the cartridge head and has an outflow opening and conveying mechanisms for conveying the starting components to the outflow opening. Each conveying mechanism has a connection to an interior of a cartridge, which has a cartridge opening, and is arranged rotatably in the device. Volumetric flows of the components are defined by the angular velocities of the conveying mechanisms, and the conveying mechanisms are coupled to each other in such a way that the ratio of the angular velocities relative to each other is fixed, such that a defined mixing ratio can be generated at the outflow opening.

Synchronised dispensing device, method for synchronising flows, and method for mixing a mixable material

A cartridge system has two cartridges and a discharge opening, wherein the cartridges are delimited by cartridge walls and by a cartridge head, wherein at least one cartridge opening for expelling the cartridge contents from both cartridges is provided in each case in the cartridge head. A device regulates streams of fluid from the cartridges and is arranged rotatably or slideably on the cartridge head, wherein on at least two openings at least one wing is in each case arranged which at least in some areas protrudes past the opening, such that a flow through the openings applies to the device a force which force leads to a sliding or turning of the device against the cartridge head, such that a housing having a discharge opening is arranged on the cartridge head, in which the housing is arranged so as to rotate or slide.

Cartridge system having a device for synchronising two fluid flows

A device () for mixing and dispensing bone cement includes a mixing cylinder (), in which a mixing plunger () is arranged, the mixing plunger () being axially movable by an actuation rod () guided out in a sealed manner at a first cylinder end (). A sealing plunger () is arranged in a region of the first cylinder end (), is axially movable on the actuation rod () and seals the mixing cylinder () in a gas-tight manner. A sterilization plunger () is arranged in the region of the first cylinder end () between the mixing plunger () and the sealing plunger (), is axially movable on the actuation rod () separately from the sealing plunger (), and seals the mixing cylinder () in a gas-permeable manner. The sterilization plunger () and the sealing plunger () form a two-part plunger system ().

A medical system () is provided having a pulling device () and an active substance chain (). The active substance chain () has at least two storage units () arranged like a chain, and at least one of the storage units () is loaded with a medicinal active substance. The pulling device () has a grip element () and a coupling element (), and the coupling element () has at least one recess (). In a free position () the active substance chain () is arranged separated from the pulling device (), while in an inserted position () at least one of the storage units () is arranged form-fitting in a recess (). The active substance chain () can be moved reversibly from the free position () into the inserted position ().
