The invention relates to a conveyor unit constituting a separating and feed mechanism (), in particular for sheet-shaped workpieces, in particular sheets () to be printed, with a lifting mechanism () for transporting the sheet () vertically and a conveyor track with conveyor means () for transporting the sheet () horizontally.
