In the display method, a first message is received, a second message on a current display interface is detected and one or more messages between the first message and the second message are hidden. An apparatus, method and computer program product are caused at least to perform: controlling a touch sensitive display to display a first graphical item at a first position and a second graphical item at a second position, the second graphical item being separated from the first graphical item by a first distance; detecting a first user digit at the first position and a second user digit at the second position; reducing the first distance by moving at least one of the first and second graphical items across the touch sensitive display, in response to detecting movement, across the touch sensitive display, of at least one of the first and second user digits; and controlling the touch sensitive display to display a third graphical item, after determining the first distance has been reduced such that the first graphical item is proximate the second graphical item.

User interface

An apparatus, method, and computer program product are provided for creating and displaying an integrated search and web browser history to a user. In particular, the apparatus includes a processor and a memory including computer program code, and the memory and computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to receive search data provided to a website and navigational data relating to a webpage. The apparatus may determine a relationship between the search data and the navigational data and may further provide for a graphical representation of the search data, the navigational data, and the relationship between the search and navigational data to be displayed to the user. Thus, the user can have not only a record of the webpages accessed or search terms used in the previous search, but also a meaningful organization and contextual representation of the search.

An apparatus includes at least one input device configured to receive a speech input, a display configured to present predetermined content acquired by the apparatus from which excerpts may be extracted, and a processor configured to execute computer readable program code. A method including displaying content on a display of a device, receiving a speech input designating a segment of the content to be excerpted and transferring the excerpted content to a predetermined location for storage and retrieval.

A method for capturing an image may include receiving a start command, determining whether one or more predefined conditions are satisfied, and capturing an image when the predefined conditions are satisfied. The start command and/or the predefined conditions may be dependent on an audible signal. The predefined conditions may include predetermined reception angles of the audible signal, ratios of foreground to background, and/or reception of a remote control signal. The method may also require that no visual feature is occluded. Individualized feedback may be provided which can direct a specific person within an image to correct a failed predefined condition.
