A tunable antenna module includes a ground metal plane, a nonconductive support element, a first radiation metal element, a second radiation metal element, a switch element, and a plurality of impedance elements. The ground metal plane provides a ground voltage. The first radiation metal element is coupled to a signal source. The second radiation metal element is adjacent to and separate from the first radiation metal element. The switch element selects one of the impedance elements, such that the second radiation metal element is coupled through the selected impedance element to the ground voltage. The nonconductive support element has a 3D (Three-Dimensional) structure. The first radiation metal element and the second radiation metal element are distributed over the nonconductive support element.

Tunable antenna module

An antenna array device and an antenna unit thereof are provided. The antenna unit includes a support and an antenna structure. The support is integrally formed as a single one-piece structure, and has a substrate, a first stand, and a second stand. The first stand and the second stand extend from two opposite sides of the substrate, respectively. The substrate and at least one of the first stand and the second stand jointly define a plurality of cavities. The antenna structure includes a plurality of patches that are formed on the substrate and that are arranged in the cavities.

Antenna array device and antenna unit thereof

A communication device includes a first antenna element, a second antenna element, a third antenna element, a fourth antenna element, a fifth antenna element, a sixth antenna element, a seventh antenna element, an eighth antenna element, and a PCB (Printed Circuit Board). The PCB has a first side and a second side positioned opposite to each other. At least one of the first antenna element, the second antenna element, the third antenna element, the fourth antenna element, the fifth antenna element, the sixth antenna element, the seventh antenna element, and the eighth antenna element is adjacent to the first side of the PCB. The other(s) of the first antenna element, the second antenna element, the third antenna element, the fourth antenna element, the fifth antenna element, the sixth antenna element, the seventh antenna element, and the eighth antenna element is/are adjacent to the second side of the PCB.

Communication device

A communication device includes a ground element, an antenna structure, a first reflector, a second reflector, a first tuning element, and a switch element. The first reflector is disposed adjacent to the antenna structure. The second reflector is disposed adjacent to the antenna structure. The second reflector is separate from the first reflector. The switch element is coupled to the first tuning element. When the switch element is enabled, the switch element couples the first tuning element to the first reflector or the second reflector. When the switch element is disabled, the first tuning element is separate from the first reflector and the second reflector.

Communication device and notebook computer device

A communication device includes a first antenna group, a second antenna group, and a metal partition plane. The metal partition plane is positioned between the first antenna group and the second antenna group. The first antenna group includes four antenna elements. The second antenna group includes eight antenna elements. Two antenna elements of the first antenna group and four antenna elements of the second antenna group each have a first polarization direction. The other two antenna elements of the first antenna group and the other four antenna elements of the second antenna group each have a second polarization direction. The second polarization direction is different from the first polarization direction.

An antenna system includes at least a first tunable antenna. The first tunable antenna includes a first radiation element, a second radiation element, a transmission line, and a switch circuit. The transmission line includes a first segment, a second segment, and a phase-adjustment segment. The first radiation element is coupled through the first segment to a first feeding point. The second radiation element is coupled through the second segment to a second feeding point. The switch circuit is configured to switch between the first feeding point and the second feeding point, so that the first feeding point or the second feeding point is arranged for receiving a feeding signal. The phase-adjustment segment has a first end and a second end. The first feeding point is positioned at the first end of the phase-adjustment segment. The second feeding point is positioned at the second end of the phase-adjustment segment.

Antenna system

An electronic device has a front side and a rear side opposite to each other and includes a back cover and an antenna structure. The back cover is disposed at the rear side. The antenna structure includes a first radiation portion, a second radiation portion and a ground portion. The first radiation portion is disposed at the front side. The second radiation portion is disposed between the first radiation portion and the back cover and is connected to the first radiation portion. The ground portion is disposed between the first radiation portion and the back cover, wherein the second radiation portion is grounded to the back cover through the ground portion.

Electronic device having antenna structure

An antenna system includes a ground metal element, a first signal source, a first antenna, a second signal source, a second antenna, an isolation metal element, and a matching circuit. The first signal source is connected to the ground metal element. The first antenna is connected to the first signal source. The first signal source is configured to excite the first antenna. The second signal source is connected to the ground metal element. The second antenna is connected to the second signal source. The second signal source is configured to excite the second antenna. The isolation metal element is disposed between the first antenna and the second antenna, and is configured to improve the isolation between the first antenna and the second antenna. The matching circuit is connected between the isolation metal element and the ground metal element.

A wideband antenna includes a first radiator formed as a part of a metal frame for resonating a first signal component of a radio-frequency signal, a second radiator disposed within an area enclosed by the metal frame for resonating a second signal component of the radio-frequency signal, and a feed terminal electrically connected between the second radiator and a ground for feeding the radio-frequency signal, wherein there is a distance between the first and second radiators such that a coupling effect is induced between the first and second radiators, which allows the first signal component being fed from the second radiator into the first radiator via the coupling effect.

Wideband antenna and wireless communication device

A wireless communication device includes a diversity antenna operating in a receiving frequency band to receive a receiving signal in the reception frequency band, a tunable matching circuit for adjusting a matching of the diversity antenna according to a control signal, a detection circuit for detecting a wireless communication system corresponding to the receiving signal to generate a detection result, wherein the detection result indicates an antenna configuration and a transmission frequency band corresponding to the wireless communication system, and a radio-frequency processing circuit for determining whether to adjust the matching of the diversity antenna to weaken antenna performance of the diversity antenna in both or one of the transmission frequency band and the reception frequency band according to the antenna configuration so as to improve an isolation between the diversity antenna and a main antenna.

Wireless communication device and method of adjusting antenna matching

A wireless communication device includes an antenna for receiving a receiving signal and including a radiator whose input impedance is inductively centralized, a tunable matching circuit coupled to the antenna for adjusting a matching of the antenna according to a control signal, and a radio-frequency processing circuit coupled to the tunable matching circuit, for determining whether to adjust the matching of the antenna according to a receiving band and a transmitting band corresponding to the receiving signal to generate the control signal to the tunable matching circuit, wherein the tunable matching circuit adjusts the matching of the antenna to optimize the matching of the antenna in the receiving band and the transmitting band.

Wireless communication device

A test device for wireless electronic devices includes a metal casing, a RF-absorbing material, a measurement antenna, and an impedance adjustment module. The impedance adjustment module includes a dielectric layer, a microstrip line, and a slot line, wherein the slot line is electrically connected to the measurement antenna. The microstrip line and the slot line are disposed on two opposite sides of the dielectric layer and respectively include a first body and a second body, which are parallel to each other.
