An electronic circuit including a plurality of common terminals, a first circuit, a second circuit, and a plurality of switch units is provided. The first circuit is configured to output display driving signals to data lines of a display panel via the common terminals. The second circuit is configured to receive fingerprint sensing signals from fingerprint sensing lines of the display panel via the common terminals. Each of the switch units includes a first terminal coupled to one of the common terminals and a plurality of second terminals coupled to the first circuit and the second circuit. The switch units are grouped into a plurality of groups, and each group corresponds to a fingerprint sensing channel of the second circuit.

Electronic circuit having display driving function, touch sensing function and fingerprint sensing function

An electronic circuit adapted to drive a display panel is provided. The electronic circuit includes a touch sensing circuit, a fingerprint sensing circuit and a display driving circuit. The touch sensing circuit senses a touch of a finger and determines a first area corresponding to the touch on the display panel. The fingerprint sensing circuit senses a fingerprint image of the finger corresponding to the first area. The display driving circuit drives pixels of the first area with respective first gray levels and pixels of a second area outside the first area with respective second gray levels. The display driving circuit processes respective third gray levels to obtain the respective first gray levels or the respective second gray levels. The display driving circuit generates gamma voltages corresponding to the respective first gray levels and the respective second gray levels according to a same gamma curve.

An imaging control circuit for collecting object image data for an object presented on a portion of a surface of a display panel is provided. The imaging control circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit and a third circuit. The first circuit is adapted to receive touch sensing signals from a set of touch sensors located in the display panel. The second circuit is adapted to receive object image sensing signals from a set of imaging sensors. The object image sensing signals are associated with the object detected on the surface of the display panel. The third circuit is adapted to determine a location of the object from the touch sensing signals and generate a variable sized object imaging zone based on a location and a size of an object image. The variable sized object imaging zone includes a variable subset of the imaging sensors.

The disclosure provides a method for driving an OLED touch-and-display device, a driving circuit, and an OLED touch-and-display device. The method includes: dividing each display frame into at least one display period and at least one touch detection period which are alternated; during each display period, generating sequentially-shifted gate driving signals and sequentially-shifted light-emission control signals, and sequentially applying the sequentially-shifted gate driving signals to at least a part of gate driving lines, and sequentially applying the sequentially-shifted light-emission control signals to at least a part of light-emission control lines; during each touch detection period, suspending generation of sequentially-shifted gate driving signals without suspending generation of sequentially-shifted light-emission control signals; and during a period when a gate driving signal for each row of pixels is of active level, maintaining a light-emission control signal for the row of pixels at inactive level.

Method for driving touch-and-display device, driving circuit, and touch-and-display device preliminary class

An electronic circuit includes a fingerprint sensing circuit that is configured to receive fingerprint sensing signals corresponding to a fingerprint image from fingerprint sensors via fingerprint sensing lines. The fingerprint sensing circuit is further configured to select a subset of the fingerprint sensing lines to form a fingerprint sensing zone having at least one boundary and adapted for a fingerprint sensing operation based on a fingerprint touch area. The subset of fingerprint sensing lines is selected based on the at least one boundary of the fingerprint sensing zone. The fingerprint sensing circuit is further configured to generate the fingerprint image according to the fingerprint sensing signals by a remapping operation.

A single-chip device for driving a panel including fingerprint sensing pixels, display pixels and touch sensors, electronic module therefor, and electronic apparatus including the single-chip device are provided. The single-chip device comprises a main body, a first group of pads and a second group of pads disposed in the main body. The main body has a left portion and a right portion with respect to an axis. The first group of pads comprise a plurality of first pads for driving the fingerprint sensing pixels, are disposed on both the left portion and the right portion and configured to be coupled to the fingerprint sensing pixels. An electronic circuit for operating with a display panel including touch sensors and fingerprint sensors is provided. The electronic circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit, a third circuit, a first switch circuit and a control circuit. The first circuit generates display driving signals for driving the display panel. The second circuit receives fingerprint sensing signals from the fingerprint sensors. The third circuit determines a touch information according to touch sensing signals from the touch sensors. The first switch circuit includes a plurality of first switch units, each of the first switch units includes a first switch element and a second switch element. The control circuit controls the first switch circuit to transmit the display driving signals in a first time interval, controls the first switch circuit to transmit the fingerprint sensing signals in a second time interval, and controls the third circuit to receive the fingerprint sensing signals in a third time interval.

An integrated driving device is provided. The integrated driving device includes a touch sensing circuit and an optical sensing circuit. The touch sensing circuit is configured to perform touch sensing in a plurality of touch sensing periods during a first frame period. The optical sensing circuit is configured to perform optical sensing during at least one optical sensing period during the first frame period to obtain optical sensing signals for generating first ambient light information. The touch sensing periods and the optical sensing period are non-overlapping. Correspondingly, an operation method of an integrated driving device is also provided.

Integrated driving device and operation method thereof

An electronic circuit adapted to process fingerprint data from a panel including touch sensors and fingerprint sensors is provided. The electronic circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit and a control circuit. The first circuit is configured to receive touch sensing signals from the touch sensors. The second circuit is configured to receive fingerprint sensing signals corresponding to at least one fingerprint imprint from the fingerprint sensors via fingerprint sensing lines. A method of controlling a stylus pen of a touch panel includes steps of: outputting an uplink control signal to a sensing electrode of the touch panel for controlling the stylus pen in an uplink control period; and outputting a direct-current (DC) voltage to a gate line of the touch panel in the uplink control period.

A chip capable of controlling a panel to perform fingerprint sensing is provided. Fingerprint sensing pixels of the panel are divided into a plurality of fingerprint zones along a first direction. The chip includes a control circuit. The control circuit provides multiple control signals for controlling the panel to perform fingerprint sensing. The control signals include multiple start pulse signals. The start pulse signals are used to indicate the selected fingerprint zone. The number of the fingerprint zones is greater than the number of the start pulse signals.

A method of controlling a display panel includes steps of: detecting a plurality of lines of display data to generate a detection result; determining whether to apply a general timing or a compensation timing to each of the lines of display data according to the detection result; allocating a first display line period for a first line of display data determined to be applied with the general timing; outputting at least one control signal to the display panel in the first display line period according to a length of the first display line period; allocating a second display line period for a second line of display data determined to be applied with the compensation timing; and outputting the at least one control signal to the display panel in the second display line period according to a length of the second display line period different from the first display line period.

Method of controlling display panel and related display driver circuit

An electronic circuit adapted to drive a display panel including touch sensors and fingerprint sensors is provided. The electronic circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit, a first switch circuit and a control circuit. The first circuit generates display driving signals for driving the display panel. The second circuit receives fingerprint sensing signals from the fingerprint sensors. The first switch circuit is coupled to a second switch circuit on the display panel. The control circuit generates control signals for controlling the first switch circuit and the second switch circuit, so as to control the electronic circuit to transmit the display driving signals from the first circuit to the data lines through the first and the second switch circuits in a first time interval, and control the electronic circuit to receive the fingerprint sensing signals from the fingerprint sensors through the first and the second switch circuits in a second time interval.
