One example system receives a query written in a primary query language that calls a user-defined function. The system assigns primary segment hosts to process portions of the query written in the primary query language and assigns first containers to process the call to the user-defined function. The primary segment hosts provide to the first containers the user-defined function and one or more arguments in the call to the user-defined function. The first containers execute the user-defined function. The primary segment hosts receive an initial result of the call to the user-defined function computed by the first containers. The primary segment hosts compute a final result of the query using the initial result. The primary segment hosts provide the final result of the query in response to receiving the query.

The present disclosure provides a sealant curing device and a mask plate thereof. The mask plate includes a light transmission region and a light shielding region. Under conditions of same action area, a pressure force generated by the pressure difference and applied to the mask plate may be reduced, thereby reducing load for adsorbing the mask plate via vacuum.

Each retransmission request from a receiver contains a round number and the number of repairs sent in that round. At each receiver, there are two counters for counting the rounds sent out on the network and the number of repairs that have been required. A receiver on the wireless multicast network listens to the ARQ requests sent by other receivers to update the two counters and determines whether its request should be suppressed or be sent out.

Adaptive and scalable packer error correction apparatus and method

The invention is related with the problem of utilizing data compression in a network of distributed stations. Often header compression is used to improve the bandwidth usage in networks, in particular wireless networks. Header compression could be implemented in access points or routers, but both implementations have serious problems, e.g. due to limited CPU power, lack of scalability, or handover latency. To resolve the problems the invention proposes to use a dedicated data compression server in the network and a new protocol to transparently deploy data compression in the network.
