The present disclosure provides detailed specifications related to user equipment (UE) aggregation. As an example, a virtual UE (VUE) configuration, also referred to as a configuration for UE aggregation, that can be used by multiple UEs participating in UE aggregation may be communicated in a wireless communication network. The configuration may indicate, for example, that the UEs are to participate in UE aggregation, and indicate a first UE for splitting or combining data. In some embodiments the configuration may indicate protocol stacks for the multiple UEs to participate in UE aggregation, and an anchor point. The anchor point is associated with a layer in the protocol stack of a first UE of the multiple UEs, and implements data splitting and/or aggregation. As an alternative to the specific example of an anchor point, a configuration may indicate a function for splitting or aggregating data.

Method and apparatus for cooperation among devices in transmissions over a UU interface

A data feedback method is described. The method includes a second terminal sending first feedback information to a first terminal based on a sidelink. The first terminal determines, based on a receiving result of the first terminal for first data and a receiving result that is of the second terminal and that is indicated by the first feedback information, second feedback information that is sent to a network device. In this way, an energy saving requirement of the second terminal is met. Moreover, the described method ensures the network device can also determine receiving results of the first terminal and the second terminal based on the second feedback information, thereby reducing unnecessary operations performed by the network device.

Multiple communication paths are established for communications between a User Equipment (UE) and a wireless communication network, before switching between those paths is initiated. Signaling that includes an explicit indication that the UE is to switch between the multiple communication paths is transmitted to and received by at least the UE for which the multiple communication paths were established. Responsive to the explicit indication, communications are switched between the communication paths. At least one of the communication paths includes a relay path between the UE and the wireless communication network through another UE. The network apparatus sends the isidelink transmission resource to the icooperation terminal apparatus and the target terminal apparatus.
