Examples described herein provide a computer-implemented method for identifying regression test failures that includes comparing a base code to a new code to locate an updated aspect of a program. The method further includes inserting debug code into corresponding source files for each of the base code and the new code for the updated aspect. The method further includes building a first image for the base code and a second image for the new code, the first and second images running in respective first and second containers. The method further includes comparing debugging outputs from a regression test of the respective first and second containers to identify a regression test failure. The method further includes implementing a corrective action to correct the regression test failure.

Identifying regression test failures

Aspects of the invention include systems and methods configured to efficiently evaluate the efforts of a code migration (e.g., porting task) between different platforms. A non-limiting example computer-implemented method includes receiving a function of a source platform. The function can include a plurality of fields. An initial vector is constructed for each of the plurality of fields. The initial vector encodes a value of the respective field according to an encoding rule. The initial vectors are merged into a single final vector and the final vector is classified into one of a plurality of system function families of the source platform. A vector of a target platform at a minimum distance to the final vector is identified and an assessment is provided that includes a difficulty in porting a project comprising the function between the source platform and the target platform based at least in part on the minimum distance.

Fast porting of projects

Aspects include generating a matrix based on a first sample of source code. Each cell in the matrix can correspond to a unique element in the source code. Each unique element can be encoded to a predetermined value according to an encoding rule. A first waveform is generated by combining a left-side curve and a right-side curve. The left-side curve encodes a first position of non-zero cells in each row of the matrix and the right-side curve encodes a last position of non-zero cells in each row of the matrix. A second sample of source code is identified that matches the first sample of source code based on a comparison of the first waveform to a second waveform constructed from the second sample of source code.

Shape-based code comparisons

Examples of techniques for quick response (QR) code deformation are described herein. An aspect includes receiving a first QR code, wherein the first QR code is scannable by a QR code scanner at a first range of angles. Another aspect includes determining a scanner angle, the scanner angle being outside of the first range of angles. Another aspect includes generating a second QR code based on the first QR code and the scanner angle, wherein the second QR code comprises a deformed QR code that is scannable by the QR code scanner at a second range of angles that is distinct from the first range of angles.

Quick response (QR) code deformation

A computer-implemented method includes determining a set of parameters defining an arrangement of a plurality of copies of a standard barcode in two or more of layers of a layered barcode encoding subject data. The layered barcode has a plurality of cells, and for each cell in the layered barcode, a combined value for the cell is determined, where the combined value of the cell indicates a respective value of each layer at the cell, and the combined value is mapped to a color corresponding to the combined value. The plurality of layers of the layered barcode are generated, such that, at each cell of the plurality of cells, the layered barcode includes the color corresponding to the combined value of the cell.

There are disclosed an international roaming method, a roaming processing device and a communication system for international roaming of an international roaming subscriber of a first operator in a third operator network. When the international roaming subscriber of the first operator provided with a first operator IMSI and a second operator IMSI roams in the third operator network, the roaming processing device of a second operator modifies a first signaling message from a first operator network and carrying the first operator IMSI to a second signaling message carrying the second operator IMSI and transmits the second signaling message to the third operator network, and modifies a third signaling message from the third operator network and carrying the second operator IMSI to a fourth signaling message carrying the first operator IMSI and transmits the fourth signaling message to the first operator network. There is also disclosed a gateway device.
