A novel method for performing replication of messages in a network that bridges one or more physical networks to an overlay logical network is provided. A physical gateway provides bridging between network nodes of a physical network and virtual machines in the overlay logical network by serving as an endpoint of the overlay logical network. The physical gateway does not replicate messages from the bridged physical network to destination endpoints in the overlay logical network directly, but instead tunnels the message-to-be-replicated to a designated tunnel endpoint in the overlay logical network. The designated tunnel endpoint in turn replicates the message that was tunneled to it to other endpoints in the overlay logical network.

A method for time synchronization in a vehicle may include transmitting, by a satellite navigation device to a controller and at least one LiDAR device, a UTC and a PPS signal. The satellite navigation device may have a first clock. The method may include synchronizing, by the controller, a second clock of the controller with the first clock of the satellite navigation device based on the PPS signal and the UTC. The method may include synchronizing, by the at least one LiDAR device, a third clock of the at least one LiDAR device with the first clock of the satellite navigation device based on the PPS signal and the UTC. The method may include synchronizing, by at least one camera, a fourth clock of the at least one camera with the second clock of the controller.

Systems and methods for time synchronization of multiple sensors in a vehicle

Some embodiments provide a method for a managed forwarding element (MFE). At the MFE, the method receives a first packet from a particular tunnel endpoint. The first packet originates from a particular data compute node associated with multiple tunnel endpoints including the particular tunnel endpoint. Based on the first packet, the method stores an association of the particular tunnel endpoint with the particular data compute node. The method uses the stored association to encapsulate subsequent packets received at the MFE and having the particular data compute node as a destination address with the particular tunnel endpoint as a destination tunnel endpoint.

An electronic device includes: a circuit board having a mounting face, on which an electronic component is mounted; a heat receiver including a heat receiving plate opposed to the electronic component; and a fastening mechanism that fixes the heat receiver to the circuit board. The fastening mechanism includes a receiver having a proximal end and a distal end, the receiver having a mounting hole penetrating from the proximal end to the distal end; and a fastener that is inserted into the mounting hole for fastening to the receiver to press the heat receiver. The receiver is surface-mounted on the mounting face by soldering with the proximal end facing the mounting face.

A method for data transfer and storage is provided. The method may include: encrypting data generated by a terminal device; storing duplicated copies of the encrypted data respectively in a first storage device and a second storage device, which are removably inserted into the terminal device; generating, with the terminal device, a message authentication code associated with the encrypted data; transmitting the message authentication code to a first server; physically transporting the first storage device to a remote location of the first server, and upon the first storage device being inserted into the first server, determining whether the encrypted data stored in the first storage device are damaged using the message authentication code; and in response to a determination that the encrypted data stored in the first storage device are not damaged, transmitting the encrypted data from the first storage device to the first server.
