The present disclosure relates to display assemblies, display apparatuses, and fingerprint recognition methods. One example display assembly includes a display panel and a fingerprint recognition module located on a light-emitting surface of the display panel. The fingerprint recognition module includes multiple fingerprint recognition units. Each fingerprint recognition unit includes at least one phototransistor and one switch transistor. The phototransistor includes a first active layer, a first gate, a first source, and a first drain. A material for making the first active layer includes an organic semiconductor material. The first drain and the first gate partially overlap to form a first capacitor. The switch transistor includes a second active layer, a second gate, a second source, and a second drain. The fingerprint recognition module includes a first metal layer. The first source, the first drain, the second source, and the second drain are all located at the first metal layer.

This application provides a display panel and an electronic device. A display region of the display panel is divided into at least two pixel regions. The pixel region includes at least two subpixels. The display region includes a first display region and a second display region. Subpixel density of the first display region is less than that of the second display region. In the first display region, at least some adjacent pixel regions have different structures. By changing structures of at least some pixel regions in the first display region, an arrangement rule of structures in pixel regions in the first display region is changed to some extent, and form a long-period diffraction grating or an aperiodic diffraction grating, so that a diffraction phenomenon caused by light passing through the display panel can be mitigated.

The TFT-LCD device equipped with the viewing angle enhancement film is able to provide enlarged viewing angle and superior image quality.

The present invention provides a positioning device for an optical membrane that includes at least one positioning hole formed on the optical membrane and at least one positioning pole interposed into the positioning hole respectively, the optical membrane is fixed onto a carrying substrate by traversing said positioning holes by said positioning poles, wherein the profile of each positioning hole extending in corresponding position in the expansion and shrink direction of the optical membrane. A certain width could be reserved in the positioning hole to allow the optical membrane expand and shrink freely at each fixing point and the positioning pole cannot interfere with the positioning hole at the moment of the optical membrane expands and shrinks to cause bending, thus to guarantee flatness of the optical membranes and improve the quality of the backlight module.

The present invention provides a light guide plate and a backlight module using the light guide plate. The light guide plate has an upper surface forming upper micro-structures and a lower surface forming lower micro-structures. The upper and lower micro-structures are set parallel to propagation direction of the light that emits from a backlight source traveling within the light guide plate. The upper and lower micro-structures each include a plurality of periodically and successively juxtaposed strip-like units. Each of the strip-like units forms a prism. The strip-like units of the upper and lower micro-structures are juxtaposed in the same direction. With the combination and arrangement of the upper micro-structures and lower micro-structures, collimation of light is improved after the light from an LED light source enters the light guide plate so as to improve convergence of the light inside a section.
