An optical touch module, a method for determining gestures thereof and a computer-readable medium are provided. The method includes the following steps. A plurality of first sensing results outputted by a first optical sensor which continuously senses a touch area from a first corner of the touch area are obtained. A plurality of second sensing results outputted by a second optical sensor which continuously senses the touch area from a second corner of the touch area are obtained. A gesture is determined according a first center of a plurality of first touch reference points of each of the first sensing results and a second center of a plurality of second touch reference points of each of the second sensing results.

Optical touch module and method for determining gestures thereof and computer-readable medium

An optical touching assembly, including a display device, a sensing device, and a touching object, is provided. The display device has a touching area. The sensing device is electrically connected to the display device. The touching object is adapted to enter the touching area, such that the sensing device senses the motion of the touching object to control the display device. The touching object has an optical controlling element that generates light along with the motion of the touching object. The sensing device senses a characteristic variation of the light to trigger at least one operating function of the display device.

Touching object and optical touching assembly using the same

An optical touch system is provided. At least one light source is disposed at a side of a base plane. A first optical sensor and a second optical sensor detect a space in front of the base plane to generate a first signal and a second signal. When two groups of objects approach to or touch the base plane, a processing unit determines at least one first portion of the first signal corresponding to the two groups of the objects and at least one second portion of the second signal corresponding to the two groups of the objects, and converts the at least one first portion and the at least one second portion into a plurality of touch regions, and determines group transformations according to positions corresponding to at least part of touch regions. Additionally, a method of touch detection, and a computer program product are also provided.

Optical touch system, method of touch detection, and computer program product

An optical touch device includes an indication plane, two image sensing units and a processing unit. The two image sensing units are disposed at two corners of the indication plane diagonal to each other, respectively, and the two corners define a diagonal line connected therebetween. The processing unit is electrically connected to the two image sensing units. When two touch points are performed on the indication plane, the processing unit determines whether the two touch points are located at opposite sides of the diagonal line, respectively, according to images sensed by the two image sensing units. Once the two touch points are located at opposite sides of the diagonal line, respectively, the processing unit calculates and outputs coordinates of the two touch points immediately according to the images sensed by the two image sensing units.

Optical touch device and touch sensing method

A frame with a sensing function includes a frame structure, a sensor and a processing unit. The processing unit is electrically connected to the sensor. The frame structure is configured for hanging on a display unit. The sensor senses a touched position set of the display unit for position setting. The processing unit includes a parameter calculating module and a parameter providing module. The parameter calculating module calculates a position transformation parameter between the hanged frame structure and the display unit according to the touched position set. The parameter providing module provides the position transformation parameter, such that a display content displayed on the display unit is controlled according to at least one touched position for operation sensed by the sensor and the position transformation parameter.

Frame with sensing function and touch control method

A system for generating calibration information for an optical imaging touch display device includes a calibration tool and a processor. The calibration tool is disposed within an image capturing range of an image capturing unit, and has a surface with mark patterns. Each adjacent pair of the mark patterns defines a pattern boundary. The calibration tool is disposed such that the pattern boundary forms a predefined positional relationship with a corresponding predefined location on the optical imaging touch display device. The processor receives an image frame corresponding to an image of the surface of the calibration tool, performs edge detection on the image frame to determine a position of each of at least one detected pattern edge, and generates the calibration information with reference to the position thus determined and the corresponding predefined location.
