A force sensing processing method of a touchpad is provided. The comparison values obtained by subtracting the force induction quantities of different frames are used to determine whether the achievement conditions are met. If it is met, a processing step is executed to respond the event to be triggered by the changing trend of the user's force. When the force changes rapidly and the force sensing amount cannot be quickly returned to the originally set trigger threshold value, the force changing trend detected by the comparison values are be used to provide the processing steps in real time, so as to improve the user experience.

Force-sensing processing method of a touchpad

A touchpad and its force-sensing data correction method are provided. The touchpad has a force-sensing layer and a touch-sensing layer. The force-sensing layer has multiple force-sensing points. The touch-sensing layer has multiple touch-sensing points. One force-sensing point corresponds to n touch-sensing points. The force-sensing information received by the force-sensing layer is adjusted by using the touch-sensing information received by the touch-sensing layer, so that the resolution of the adjusted force-sensing information is higher than the resolution of the original received force-sensing information. In this way, the purpose of calibrating the force-sensing information is achieved, so as to improve the accuracy of determining the force applied by the object during the operation of the touchpad.

A control system applicable to a touch device is provided. The touch device includes a touch sensor. The control system comprises a sensing circuit, configured to sense the touch sensor and generate a plurality of sensing values; a processor, configured to generate a sensing image according to the plurality of sensing values; and a convolutional neural network, configured to process the sensing image to generate feature information and generate identification information according to the feature information for determining a status of the touch sensor.

A liquid detecting method and controller for a capacitive touch pad are disclosed. The method includes performing a first mutual capacitance measurement of sensing points of the capacitive touch pad to obtain multiple first sensing values, and then performing a second mutual capacitance measurement of the sensing points to obtain multiple second sensing values, wherein the first and the second mutual capacitance measurements using different frequency of driving signals or different sensing periods for sensing the multiple sensing points. According to the multiple first sensing values and the second sensing values, whether there is liquid on the capacitive touch pad can be determined.

Liquid detecting method and controller for a capacitive touch pad

A method of changing the identified type of a touching object is provided. The touching object is on a touch pad. The method includes the following steps: (A) when the type of the touching object is determined as a palm, determining the type of the touching object again; (B) when the type of the touching object is determined as a finger in step (A), informing the operating system that the touching object has left the touch pad when the touching object does not leave the touch pad; and (C) after step (B) is done, informing the operating system that the type of the touching object is a finger.

Method of changing identified type of touching object

A method of identifying a palm area for a touch panel has steps of: receiving sensing frame information having multiple touching sensing points from the touch panel; selecting one of the touching sensing points; outwardly extending a distance from an outline of the selected touching sensing point to define a searching range; checking whether other touching sensing points are within the searching range; marking the touching sensing points in the searching range and expanding the searching range based on the currently marked touching sensing points; sequentially selecting and checking each touching sensing point if it is within the present searching range; and finally merging all the outlines of the marked touching sensing points to form a final outline as a palm area. Other unmarked touching sensing points are defined as touching reference points.
