An optical inspection apparatus capable of adjusting an incident angle of a detected light beam and adjusting a detecting angle for detecting the detected light beam. A driving mechanism is used to actuate two arms having a light source and a detector disposed thereon respectively to conduct a relative movement between the two arms so as to control the incident angle and the detecting angle. By means of the embodiments, mechanism for adjusting the angle is simplified so that the apparatus is capable of being adapted to combine with the application of micro sensors such that practicality of modularization design and microminiaturization and convenience of operation are capable of being greatly improved and that the cost can be reduced.

Optical inspection apparatus

An apparatus for detecting surface plasmon resonance (SPR) comprises a light source, a light-coupling unit, a phase-resolving module, and a data-processing unit. The light source provides a light beam emitting into a surface of a metal film to generate surface plasmon resonance. The phase-resolving module is configured to split the reflection light of the light beam on the surface of the metal film into a first light, a second light, a third light, and a fourth light, and to detect the intensities of the lights simultaneously. The phases of the first light and second light differentiate by 90 degrees, and the phases of the third light and fourth light differentiate by 90 degrees. The data-processing unit calculates the phase variation of the surface plasmon resonance on the metal film based on the intensities of the first light, second light, third light, and fourth light.

Apparatus and method for detecting surface plasmon resonance

A surface plasmon resonance (SPR) detecting apparatus which controls the flow of fluid without using an additional pressure difference or pump is provided. The SPR detecting apparatus includes a detection chip, a fluid driving chip and an optical device. The fluid driving chip has a plurality of electrodes disposed on the flow space of the fluid. The angle between the liquid and a contact surface is changed by electrifying the electrodes, and the electrodes are turned on and turned off sequentially such that the droplets are controlled to move. The optical device is used to detect surface plasmon resonance phenomenon and to determine the interaction of the droplets and the detecting chip.

Surface plasmon resonance detecting apparatus and method thereof

This invention relates to a scanning ultrasound detection device using two-wave mixing in photorefractive crystal interferometry. An interferometer with two-wave mixing in photorefractive crystal, and cooperates with a confocal lenses module to perform a scan and inspection of the surface of a target. A rotating unit is used for directing a signal beam for detection to be incident upon different locations of the target. The confocal lens module is used to compensate any changes of reflection path caused by the signal beam having different incident angles. Hence, a reflected signal beam and a reference beam can strike on a photo detector.

Scanning ultrasound detection device using two-wave mixing in photorefractive crystal interferometry

The present invention discloses a vibration measuring device for measuring a vibration of an object. Such device includes a sensing body generating a dynamic information in response to the vibration, and a piezoelectric sensing layer disposed on the sensing body to construct a sensor and formed in a distributed mode to measure the dynamic information in a selected specific bandwidth. The present invention also discloses a vibration measuring method.
