A wireless communication device includes a transceiver device and a data processing device. The transceiver device receives a frame from a wireless communication channel. The data processing device receives the frame and determines whether at least one of multiple predetermined frames has been received or is about to be received according to the frame. The data processing device enables a batch-frame indication mechanism when determining that said at least one of the multiple predetermined frames has been received or is about to be received. When the batch-frame indication mechanism is enabled, every time when one of the multiple predetermined frames is received, it is buffered in a reception queue instead of issuing a fetch indication, and when a number of predetermined frames buffered in the reception queue reaches a predetermined batch size, the data processing device issues the fetch indication to a back-end processing device.

Wireless communication device and data processing method

A wireless access point includes a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to access instructions stored in the memory, and execute the instructions to perform following steps: periodically transmitting a plurality of beacons to a station so that the station operates in a low power sleep mode or an active mode based on the beacons, in which the beacons includes two successive beacons; and, between the transmission of the two successive beacons, determining whether to transmit a management frame to the station based on a traffic condition of packets being directed to the station so that the station establishes a mode switching in response to the management frame. The traffic condition includes a channel state and a number or a validity of the packets. The mode switching includes switching from one of the low power sleep mode and the active mode to another.

Wireless access point and station applied in wireless communication system and communication method

A method of determining CCA (clear channel assessment) policy, applied in a communication system including multiple devices, is provided. The method includes the following steps: the devices broadcasting multiple policy indications, in which the devices include a coordinating device, multiple neighboring devices and multiple local client devices, the local client devices associate with the coordinating device to form a network, and the neighboring devices operate within at least one neighboring network; the coordinating device obtaining multiple neighboring policy indications from multiple neighboring frames transmitted by the neighboring devices; and the coordinating device determining whether to change a coordinating policy indication corresponding to the coordinating device according to the neighboring policy indications. A policy indication of a device indicates a policy among multiple CCA policies. The CCA policies include a first policy and a second policy, and the first policy is less sensitive to a sensed signal than the second policy.

Clear channel assessment policy determination method and communication system thereof

A transmitter operating in a communication system is provided. The transmitter includes an encoding circuit and a modulation circuit. The transmitter is configured to generate multiple encoded bits according to an encoding relationship, in which the encoding relationship is corresponding to a code rate and a minimum distance, and the minimum distance is greater than a reciprocal of the code rate. The modulation circuit is configured to generate a transmission signal according to the encoded bits, such that the encoded bits are transmitted over multiple subcarriers, and each encoded bit is transmitted via a subcarrier. The encoding relationship is corresponding to multiple output codewords, and the minimum distance represents a minimum Hamming distance between two distinct output codewords. One of the output codewords includes the encoded bits.
